100% recommended. Just a few steps from the main plaza, which makes it perfect. This hotel is the best! Excellent service, amazing people that makes us feel like family! Only good things to say about this place. We go every year to Salento and this is the hotel we love to stay at!

We stayed for three nights in the hotel, which is very conveniently located one block from the main square. However I can only disagree with most reviews here, maybe we got the wrong room. The main issues that prevented us from sleeping: - no darkening curtains - very thin Windows and walls, you hear everything from other rooms, the street, the lobby. - suspicious stains on the mattress (under three layers of covers) and suspicious itchy spots in the mornings. Inspect your room carefully. The floor in our room was wooden, on photos from other rooms I can see tiles or linoleum).

This mid-range hotel is situated a short distance from the main plaza, and is a good option if you want to be right in the town centre. It has smart rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff and reasonable tranquillity. Salento is a good base for excursions but is heavily oriented to tourism: there may be calmer and less commercial destinations in the lovely surrounding countryside.

Great place to stay with amazing staff. Good size rooms in a quiet place just off the main square. Very good beds and 5 stars service from this family-run business. Great experience in the center of Salento, close to all good restaurants. With typical Colombian kindness and attention

Good location just minutes away from the main square and amazingly friendly and enthusiastic staff. Breakfast was reasonable especially for a very small hotel with choice of eggs, a fresh fruit platter and a selection of breads, plus coffee and a juice. The room was not a nice place to stay - I could not see any wat to heat or cool the room other than open or close the shutter (there are no windows, so you either have your room open to veranda or closed and in the dark. The wifi was good. Bathroom was just acceptable with a powerful and warm shower but no hot water in the sink. The wood floors seemed to be mopped with water and bleach everyday which was reassuring in the fact that bacteria was probably non existent but disappointing with the bleach smell. I have concerns of the cleanliness of the bedding, although the sheets and pillow covers seemed to be clean the pillows especially stank which was due to the cushions that had been placed on the bed being absolutely rotten and transferring their odour onto anything they touched - I had to wash a shirt after sitting on the bed using the cushion as back support as it could not be worn again. Solento is a small town and as such this is probably a reasonable hotel for the town but I would like much more attention paid to the bedding. Staff were great though.

The hotel has a very good location, rooms are spacious with private bath rooms. Breakfast is included however the quality of their breakfast items could improve same for their staff. I had a unpleasant experience when I needed an extra blanket and the one that was in my room when I opened it smelled to sweat and dirt. The staff person agreed with me that was not clean, apologized and immediately brought me a clean one. I just hope that the rooms and linen are properly handle according to the Health Department.
