Outdoor space ( garden very big ) parking, central to everything and very friendly place and owner, goes above and beyond
I come here all summer. One or 2 nights a week. Chuck the owner is always happy to make us comfortable. His rooms are perfectly clean. They smell nice. The bathrooms are spacious. The showers are huge. The air conditioner works great. We are always so tired by the time we get here after the long days of boating. It is always great to see Chuck’s friendly face and these clean and spacious rooms. The beds are comfortable. We have stopped making reservations anywhere but the sudden in. I highly recommend. Very family and pet friendly you won’t be disappointed.
I typically spend a night here once a week June-September. Chuck, the owner, always has a smiling face and happy to see us. He does great job having our room ready to go with ice and glasses for us the room is nice and cool as he knows we have been in the sun all day. There is a nice large rainfall shower in our room with comfortable beds. We only stay here anymore!
Very nice hotel didn’t have anything to complain about owner was very nice and helpful we was staying there to go to crufts owner didn’t mind me parking the van in the garden and letting my dogs have use of the garden was amazing will definitely stay here again in the future
Lovely, comfy, cosy guest house. Bed linens were spotless, the bathroom was immaculate, I loved having a kettle, microwave AND a fridge in the room, plus a wide variety of teas and coffees. The staff were absolutely delightful - friendly and knowledgeable. The cleaner was delightful and offered anything she could to make us comfortable and the owner Ronnie (and his lovely son who was so helpful) was wonderful - even going so far as to calling to let me know that my car window was open and sorting it out when he found out I couldn’t get back. This will definitely be our go to place for visiting Birmingham or anywhere nearby, and we’ve told all our friends and family. A really special place.
I really enjoyed my stay at The Sutton Inn in Elkton, MD. I discovered the inn by chance and am very happy to have found this place. I couldn't be happier with the clean, comfortable, modern, and quiet room. I have paid hundreds of dollars more per night for a lesser room in one of the big chains. The owner of the Sutton Inn, Chuck, was very helpful and welcoming. By the way, the TV in the room was great too. If you ever need to stay in Elkton, Maryland, I highly recommend you stay at this inn. I am a history buff and I love the fact that The Sutton Inn has been a family business since 1953 when Jerry Sutton and his wife Gladys Warren Sutton opened the business. Jerry lived to be 100 and died just before turning 101. Unfortunately, family and small business are forced to close due to competition from the big chains. The Sutton Inn offers a lot more than any of the big hotel chains. The Sutton Inn is a gem and I highly recommend it.
This is the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Beautiful bathroom. Easy parking. The owner Chuck is a sweetheart and aims to please. Bed and pillows were comfy. My dog gives it a paw up. Close to several nice restaurants.
