Guest：Great atmosphere, loved the apartment and its beautiful surroundings..the lake, the green and the green space. Our bed was comfortable, but sadly our kids single beds were very hard. We had to let the kids sleep in our bed and took the single beds for the rest of the two nights.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a large, elegantly designed bathroom that included both a bath and a big shower. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a small bar fridge, a hair dryer, and a TV – everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a ground-floor room with direct access from our patio into the vineyard, and we even had a lovely view of the Vaal River. This added a truly magical touch to our experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. One thing to note: we were disappointed to miss out on the spa, which was meant to be a highlight of our three-day anniversary getaway. Unfortunately, we had not realised that bookings needed to be made in advance. I would recommend arranging spa appointments ahead of time if it is part of your plans. Aside from that, the breakfasts were delicious and a perfect way to start each day. I would happily recommend Pont de Val to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic escape – it is definitely worth spending a night or two!
