Had a great stay at this friendly hotel. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Situated close to town and amenities, bus stops etc. staff were great and really helpful - especially Louise who had brilliant local knowledge. I will definately stay again and would recommend a stay to others - free car parking too

The bathroom had black mould in the grout and the whole room smelt. Initially I couldn’t find the source (I arrived later in the evening) and assumed the room just needed airing. However, whilst in the bathroom before bed I then noticed all the black mould in the bathroom grout. Thankfully shutting the bathroom door contained it somewhat but also found mould on the bed base. If I didn’t have an early start I would have sorted it that evening. Staff members in the morning thankfully were very helpful and moved me straight away but then I was faced with squeaking floorboards from the room above and a guest that had an inability to quietly shut their door when leaving at 5.30am. Not the fault of the staff but annoying all the same. The second room was clean though and heated well with plenty of tea/coffee supplies. With the windows shut it was quiet enough from traffic for getting to sleep and I was never woken by traffic noise. Most of the staff were friendly when you saw them and thankfully I had no further major issues for my stay.

Very clean and comfy bed.welcoming staff very informative of local attractions Ryan check us in smoothly and quickly and is a very nice chap. Food services close by which is ideal and there is plenty of parking spaces available free of charge which is a added bonus

Will not stay here again. Not a great area, lots of people just hanging around in the car park, also very busy with traffic ALL night. Room was sort of clean, meaning clean bedding and towels, rest of the room deep clean needed. Bathroom needed a bloody good clean, the shower was pointless, the pressure, well it didn't exist, the was more water in the hand basin. The hot water took a long time to come through. The Bed was very hard and only 2 very thin pillows on a double bed. Have had better night's camping. Got my WiFi voucher which was totally pointless, the WiFi would drop in and out all evening, not great when I had work to do. Needs a serious up grade. The Breakfast Box is interesting, some bits were ok, but with a day of travel and work ahead, a full cooked breakfast would be my choice. An awful stay, it maybe close to main attractions, and you may get better service if you are staying more than one night, but I would recommend you pick somewhere else and have a good sleep.

So we were welcomed to the travel lodge on arrival and shown to our room. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can not fault them. We had a slight issue with the accessable room we had booked where the cable used to charge my phone overnight had melted in to the socket on the wall. We had also had issue with the room tripping when the kettle was switched on. The manager was lovely and moved us to the other accessable room and made sure we were all good before she left. The rooms are very tidy and clean and they even had a fan in the room just in case it was too warm which I thought was brilliant. They have extra tea, coffee, sugar, sweeteners and milk at reception in case you runout of anything. The beds are very comfy and the shower was very easy to use. There is a takeaway breakfast option at the hotel but also a Greggs, subway, burger king and a petrol station on site too.

Convenient location - everything smelt very new (carpets, paintwork) and I was told this was done over the past month. Receptionist was very welcoming and extremely helpful when I forgot our key! Comfy bed and lovely shower. Sat nav not helpful and sent us all over the place so be warned

Fantastic location very quiet seeing as you are right next to the motorway you can’t hear much noise at all, staff are amazing and very friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. I was also chatting with the manager who is a fellow northern as well she was telling us where we could eat and how to get to places . Very clean bathrooms and the bed was comfortable and lovely fluffy pillows perfect night sleep.

The hotel is very basic but clean and staff nice. There are a couple of places to get drinks/snacks/breakfast or short walk (15mins) to town with better selection. Found bed j comfortable and our room was on the car park so everyone could see in unless we closed the curtains. Ask for a room at the back to avoid this. Our room wasn’t made up from last guest but this was sorted out quickly and efficiently. For what we paid would recommend and close to Stonehenge. We used it as a stopover for a cruise to Southampton which worked well. Was an hour away.

This travelodge is a little gem Conveniently situated for all henges etc This hotel has polite welcoming staff very clean well equipped rooms and is close to the town of Amesbury 15mins walk for plenty of places to relax of an evening Highly recommended we will return The two oldies on a motorbike ??
