Guest：I had such a lovely time staying here at the sparkling Turtle. I arrived here with the intention of staying only a few nights, and ended up staying for almost 3 weeks. The owners were truly kind and welcoming, and treated us more like family then guests. I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and safe place with a homelike feel. The location was also a highlight. It is located well outside of the major tourist hubs, but within walking distance of many. Being in the outskirts of town, the hostel has beautiful view of the city and mountains. Some of my favourite restaurants in Kathmandu, with the best prices are located right around the corner from the hostel.

The owner were incredibly helpful and always ready with great tips for exploring the city and beyond. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas had a nice vibe where you could just chill after a day of sightseeing with a drink or a book. The location is a bit away from the noisy center, which we really appreciated. It’s peaceful, but still easy to get other attractions. Highly recommended for backpackers and budget travelers looking for a cozy, welcoming place in Kathmandu. Would definitely stay here again!

Guest：I spent 10 nights in The Sparkling Turtle and I really enjoyed it! It's 5 minutes walk from the Buddha Park by the Swayambhu, the stupa itself is very close too. There is a nice view of the city from the balcony. The building is new and very clean! The owner is nice and helpful. There is a laundry service which was a great help. Breakfast is also nice! ??
