Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti in questo resort e siamo stati benissimo. Belle camere (noi abbiamo soggiornato in quelle con piscina), ottima la pulizia, gentilissimo il personale. Abbiamo anche cenato spesso nel resort e abbiamo sempre mangiato molto bene. Vicino al resort c è anche una bellissima siaggia

Nos encantó el hotel, la ubicación es increible, eso sí necesitas moto para moverte. La atención del personal es magnífica, te ayudan en todo y son muy amables y está todo limpisimo y cuidado, muy bonito. La playas de la zona son las mejores de la isla.

We had high hopes for this hotel, and while there were definitely some lovely aspects, overall it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The hotel itself is very beautiful and perfect for photos, but it is quite secluded. While they do have their own massage services on site, it’s far from other massage places, restaurants, and main attractions. Getting around can be tricky and quite expensive unless you’re comfortable hiring a motorbike. We were traveling with our toddler, so we relied on songthaews, which added up even for short trips to nearby beaches/restaurants. It would be really helpful if the hotel offered a shuttle service for guests wanting to explore. The staff were polite but generally seemed unfriendly — not many smiles or any real sense of happiness. It didn’t feel like the warm, welcoming service you hope for on holiday, which was a bit disappointing. There was also a noticeable language barrier at times. With a bit more customer service training, there’s definitely potential here. Breakfast was okay, but most options felt quite heavy for a morning meal. It would have been nice to see a few lighter or more Western choices for some variation. The Wi-Fi was quite slow, which made streaming or even browsing online a bit frustrating. On the bright side: - The complimentary mini bar was a lovely touch, with plenty of snacks and drinks restocked daily. - The food at the restaurant and through room service was good. - There’s a gorgeous beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and the hotel offers free kayaks to explore. A note on Koh Kood itself: It’s much less developed than bigger Thai islands like Krabi or Samui, which was actually quite refreshing and felt more real and untouched. Just don’t expect to see 7/11s or big convenience stores, it’s mostly small local shops. If you’re traveling with young kids, I’d recommend buying essentials like nappies and wipes in advance while you’re still in Trat. It’s one less thing to worry about once you’re on Koh Kood. Overall: If you’re traveling with young kids or prefer not to rely on a motorbike, you might be more comfortable staying somewhere more central with more restaurants, massage spots, and nicer beaches nearby. But if you’re after a quiet, scenic spot that’s beautiful for photos and don’t mind a bit of extra travel, this place could still be worth considering.

Everything was amazing! Absolutely no complaints! The staffs were very attentive and very helpful. The food and the drinks were nice.
The hotel had many cute spots and lovely infrastructure! Hideout Koh Kood Hotel is indeed a very Instagramable hotel

* This charming resort absolutely won us over with its adorable decor, thoughtful room layouts, and exceptional staff service. We stayed in an oceanfront room with a private pool—the size was perfect, offering both comfort and privacy. A few tiny opportunities to make it even better: - No in-room phones (we used our mobiles for internal calls—minor but noticeable). - The dining options, while decent, didn’t quite match the excellence of other amenities. With a little refinement, the food could elevate the experience from great to extraordinary. That said, these were small notes in an otherwise wonderful stay. We’re already dreaming of our next visit

The resort offers beautiful surroundings, charming villas, and scenic common areas, but overall the experience was disappointing. While a few staff members were kind, service was disorganized, communication difficult, and the general atmosphere of neglect affected the stay. Tables were often left dirty for hours, attracting ants and other animals, and basic facilities like the outdoor shower were out of order. The resort appears more focused on Instagram-worthy aesthetics than on guest comfort and care. The rooms lacked practical storage space, and safety measures around the pool and beach were insufficient. Its isolated location makes getting around expensive or complicated unless you rent a scooter. Food was average, and breakfast was sometimes compromised by ants at the buffet. In conclusion, this resort may satisfy those looking for a beautiful setting to relax without moving around, but it does not meet the expectations of a true high-standard or 5-star experience.
