The best part of the Zostel is the view no doubt. One can sit on the deck chairs and spend an entire day relaxing. We also loved the arrangement of daily activities like beach trek and evening beach volleyball. Even the Bollywood night arranged at the attached Mantra Cafe under Zostel was amazing. As for the rooms, we stayed in a private cottage. The prices were on the higher side due to long weekend. The rooms were neat and clean with a little patio with chairs and clothe hanger. There was a separate basin with a huge mirror and a clean bathroom. We loved our experience here and probably would go back again.

Stayed at Zostel Gokarna in October 2020 right after the lockdown opened. Drove to Gokarna from Pune. Reached the place at around 7. Checkin was fast and we were given dorms for our stay. The view from the dorms is truly mesmerizing and you can see the entire Gokarna beach coastline from there. The dorms were decent and the toilets were okay. But for the price its actually very good. They have seperate rooms as well for family and couples. They have a common area cum restaurant where you can socialise and have beers and chill. The food was decent in the restaurant. Service was okay. Overall a good place to go with friends for a couple of nights.

Best hostel in Gokarna and the cleanest. It also has the biggest cafe in Gokarna called Mantra Cafe with the best view in town. The hostel conducts activities like beach trek and sunset walks which is a must do activity. The highlight was the workstations set up in the common room, which is perfect for working.
