Guest：Great to see this amazing Historic Homestead open again for business. Beautifully fitted out large rooms with lovely personal touches and great views of the harbour. Continental breakfast provided was outstanding with a good selection including a cooked egg option of the day. Our host was very welcoming. Thank you we will be back.

Guest：My wife and I stayed here for two nights in early February 2025. It was among the best places we have stayed anywhere (North America and Europe). The place is a Victorian building that is beautiful, inside and out. Our room had a beautiful and comfortable old four poster bed. The gardens are lovely and the veranda looks out over Akaroa bay. It is an easy walk to town and the waterfront. What we will remember is the warmth and hospitality of owner Sabine and her family. They shared information on local attractions and great conversation. The breakfast’s they served are sublime-fresh fruit, fresh baked bread, homemade jams and more.
