No:23 is one of best B & B's l have had the pleasure to stay at and l would recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Wells. Liz (the Owner) is a fantastic hostess, nothing seemed to much trouble. My room ( No: 4) was well equipped and spotless, the bed was excellent, the shower is the best l've ever been it (very powerful) The breakfast is something else (11 out of 10) cooked to perfection and plenty of it, should really be called an all day breakfast. No: 23 is located only a short walking distance from the town centre ( 5-6 mins).

We made arrangements to stay in Wells on a visit to see our son's new home. Our stay at No 23 found the accommodation to be very comfortable and the room spotless, along with the ensuite shower room Breakfast was delicious on both mornings. We were made to feel very welcome. An excellent stay.

The room was light, airy and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. Really enjoyed the tasty cooked breakfast (and good coffee). Liz is a very interesting and full of good conversation. A splendid host (thank you Liz). My friend and I stayed for two nights. Location is conveniently close the shops, a ten minute walk. I would definitely stay at No. 23 on any return visits to Wells.

Liz is a marvellous and welcoming host. No 23 is a traditionally British B&B and spotlessly clean. Breakfast cooked to your wishes. Really convenient location on the edge of the city, with a few minutes walk to the centre. Wells is lovely too!

This is a lovely b&b .Everything is first class .Clean .Very good breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. Liz is a superb hostess ,and has a great sense of humour. It is situated close to all amenities. We look forward to visiting again.

Liz is a very friendly and welcoming host. Her home is really clean. The bedroom is well equipped. The breakfast was a real treat- lovely fresh fruit salad and piping hot cooked food too. We especially appreciated Liz catering for a vegan diet. Would be very happy to stay there again. Hilary and Rob

Lovely 2 night stay. Clean and comfortable,breakfast was amazing and made to feel really welcome.About 15 min walk to the Wells town.Liz is a lovely lady we had a great chat and she was a mind of information. Would recommend to anyone and if we are passing will definitely stay again.

Lovely friendly landlady who did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. Clean, well equipped room. Tasty, freshly cooked breakfast. Overall a great experience . We were lucky enough to meet Maisie the dog who was visiring

What a great stay we had the room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee with fresh milk every day. Liz is a lovely lady very accommodating and nothing to much trouble. Ideal location for walking into Wells about a 10 minute walk

a nice welcome, a clean room ,a beautiful breakfast, what do you want more for a holiday in Wells? Liz (the owner) has a wonderfull sence of humor and the perfect host in her nice Victorian house. We will certainly return !!!
