Guest：Cet h?tel-pub offre des chambres de grand confort, climatisées et modernes dans l’agencement. Le restaurant dispose d’une terrasse -jardin. Il est proche du centre de Canterbury. Un parking payant se trouve en arrière du batiment. Personnel très attentionné. établissement à recommander.
Guest：Had an excellent 2-night stay at The Corner House. Can highly recommend either as a place to stay or to have a meal (or both). Staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and it was obvious that a lot of pride was taken by the chef in terms of sourcing with quality ingredients. The room was comfortable and had character. Lovely memories and hope to visit again in future.
Guest：We have just had a really lovely dinner and overnight stay for our anniversary, which was made even more enjoyable by the excellent service from the young waiters here. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, it's understated, but the food quality definitely isn't. Locally sourced ingredients transformed into uncomplicated, delicious dishes. We had the slow cooked lamb , which was beautifully soft with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Their brown bread ice cream is amazing and the blood orange sorbet full of flavour . We were staying the night in the Dickens Room , so didn't have far to go after . Our room was a really nice size , homely and warm - a touch too warm for me at night , but had we read the instructions properly , we could have cooled it down more. It's on the main road, but surprisingly not very noisy at all and they provide little earplugs in case. The breakfast was amazing! The most delicious homemade granola, yogurt, treacle bread toast and pain au chocolate. Oh, and an apple. Lots of tea, coffee hot chocolate provided and fresh milk in the fridge. We loved our short stay and would highly recommend both restaurant and room . We'll be back !
Guest：We stayed overnight at the Corner House and hadn’t checked about its food but decided in advance to eat there. Wow. A great meal. Beautifully cooked food (the mackerel chox bun starter was stunning) , a good choice of dishes, friendly and efficient service. A very lovely surprise (it was a great place to stay overnight too and, for Canterbury, good value).
