Guest：The hotel is a 25 minute walk to civilisation which would be okay if the place had enough taxis. The shuttle service is not great and only runs 2/3 times a day. We ended up having to walk there and back most of our holiday. The staff didn’t help much on our stay. Sending us to a room up stairs with no help with bags. We didn’t get told about the bike rental till late in our stay. The room its self was okay but balcony was dirty and the air-con was intermittent. This is the only hotel in the world where you are charger 30 euros per day for the main to come and change sheets/tidy up and 8 euros to change towels. We wish we done more research on this place as we ended up spending a good 200 euros on transport for the whole stay. Would highly recommend paying a little more to stay in the main town.
Guest：Stayed a 10 minute walk from the town which has bars, cafes, restaurants and regular shops. Lovely area. Felt really safe day or night. Was busy when we went due to giro de Italia but that just added to the atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Great Lake views and lots of historical sites

Guest：We recently stayed at this property and were quite disappointed with the overall experience, especially given its 4-star rating. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that our suite was located uphill in a separate set of buildings far from the main area. The property seems to have two distinct sections, and we were placed in the last one — which was incredibly confusing to access, especially with luggage. When we politely asked to change rooms, the staff was unhelpful and borderline rude, telling us it was not possible without any real explanation. Unfortunately, this lack of hospitality continued throughout our stay. We also asked for help arranging transportation from the hotel to the city, and again, the staff was dismissive and not helpful at all. That said, I must give credit where it’s due: the natural beauty of the surroundings is truly breathtaking. The views and peacefulness of the area are exceptional. Also, the staff at the restaurant were very kind and welcoming — a much-needed contrast to the rest of the service. However, for a 4-star hotel, we expected more. Our room wasn’t cleaned during the two nights we stayed, and basic standards of service were simply not met. It’s a shame, because the location has great potential, but unfortunately, the management and service fell far short.
