Guest：Superbly convenient location for skiing (and probably hiking, in summer) 2 minutes' walk away (a little more in ski boots, obviously) from the base of the local cable car. Very familiar style, which may or may not be what you prefer. The owner is an irresistibly charming lady. The soft-boiled egg and distinctly-Austrian coffee at breakfast are delicious. I was surprised to notice that, although Finkenberg is obviously a quiet kind of place, my third-floor room suffered from road traffic noise until late in the evening. If you have never been in Finkenberg, it may be easy to imagine larger, busier Mayrhofen to be far away, but in fact it is only one hour's easy downhill walk away, and a mere 9-minute, €2.70 bus ride to come back, and Mayrhofen is also directly connected to the skiing by two cable cars, but has a much wider accommodation offer, so this is worth bearing in mind.
