Guest：We loved staying at Volcano Rainforest Retreat! It was a calm and intimate retreat just minutes from Volcano National Park. The bungalow we were in was perfect and felt like a true escape. We would spend all day hiking at the park, fueled by the fantastic breakfast of local fruit, pastries, and granola, then we would come back and relax our tired bodies in the hot tub. This bed and breakfast has honestly ruined us for other accommodations in the future!

This trip was five years in the making and as high as our expectations were, the Sanctuary Cottage surpassed all of our dreams. From the warm welcome and detailed orientation to the scrumptious breakfasts and tranquilizing Japanese Soaking Tub, our stay could not have been better. The hosts have thought of every possible detail which made for a magical three nights.
