I specifically requested a quiet room, and yet that was the loudest room I have ever had at any hotel, hostel, air bnb etc... . I was only going to be at Nativo hotel for like 10 hours, and it was just to crash after a 23 hour commute, then I would be on my way. I tried to sleep with ear plugs in and my head additionally wrapped in a blanket, but as exausted as I was it was just too loud to sleep at all. My "quiet room" was 305 located directly below the pool deck and extended rooftop bar seating. Through the ceiling the music was shockingly loud and played late. But what was worse were the metal deck chairs and tables banging and screeching across the floor above, and carrying through the concrete slab roof so clearly it sounded like they were in my room. The deck chairs and tables never stopped screeching and banging all night but did slow down for a little bit before 6am. I tried to sleep with earplugs in and a whole blanket wrapped around my head at the same time, but it wasn't even close to muffling the sound enough for sleep. If I had just wandered behind the hotel and found a pile of trash to sleep on/in I would have gotten more and better sleep.

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 11 years. This time it was in January and February of 2022. Monica (the owner) and her staff have always been very friendly and very helpful. If you need anything, she can either tell you where to go to get it or call on her numerous contacts to take care of any of your needs. 11 years ago the street it is located on was not so busy. Now it is fairly busy. Although you don't notice it from the rooms. Speaking of the rooms! All of the ones i have stayed in (at least 5 different ones) were very spacious, clean and comfortable. They all have a kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and cutlery. Are well decorated with local artwork. And have attached bathrooms with shower. And of course A/C. Small shops and cafes located within 5 min. walk. I highly recommend this hotel.
