  • Guest：? This Is a very humble and simple hotel with a hostel vibe but probably one of the best places to stay in the area, truly is a real gem. ?? The rooms are simple but have everything you need, including a big comfortable bed, a safe, and great air conditioning. ?? The breakfast is absolutely delicious and made with a lot of love, they even packed us to-go boxes when we had to leave early, which was such a thoughtful touch. ?? They speak fluent English, so you won't have to rely on your high school Spanish skills that you've long forgotten. ?? The location couldn't be better - it's right in the middle of everything you could ever want, including bars, restaurants, and the Amazon river promenade just a stone's throw away. No wonder they call it Central ?? If you like your shower hot like I do, you are in for a treat because it gets very hot very quickly which for me is a plus. ?? The owner is the real shining star of this place. He's like your long-lost best friend, always there to lend a helping hand or offer some local insight. He'll go above and beyond to make sure your stay is nothing short of amazing. ??Just a heads up, though - There's no elevator, so try to snag a room on the second floor if you've got a lot of luggage. But if you do end up on a higher floor, no worries - they'll carry your bags up for you. ?? And if you're a light sleeper, avoid the rooms facing the main street, unless you want to sleep party with the locals all night long on the weekends. ?? The wifi is good for checking your email and scrolling through your Instagram feed, but don't even think about trying to download that new season of your favorite show. If you're hoping to send some big files, you might as well send them via carrier pigeon. The good news is that if you need to get some work done, the lobby is the place to be, it works better there. ?? There is no room service but just give them a little notice, and they'll whip up something special for you. And while there's not a restaurant on-site and really hard to get food delivered, there are plenty of fantastic options within walking distance. #?? Very Clean #?? Friendly #?? Safe #??   • Guest：Hotel Central is such a beautiful, calm, clean place to stay whilst in Iquitos. The bed is huge and comfy, the A/C is perfect, the shower is warm, and the hosts are gracious, courteous, and a true blessing to find amongst the chaos that can be Iquitos. The complimentary breakfast of freshly cooked eggs, vegetables, toast, jam, fresh squeezed juice, tea, and coffee is delicious. Located one block away from the Plaza de Armas, and three blocks from the waterfront, I highly recommend Hotel Central if you happen to find yourself in Iquitos.
  • Guest：This is my 2nd visit to Central Bed & Breakfast. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The hosts are gracious and go out of their way to accommodate your stay and any special requests you may have. The breakfast is very nice, the rooms are comfy with air conditioning and hot showers (I always stay here after several weeks roughing it in the jungle so this is really appreciated). The pricing is very reasonable as well. Can't recommend it highly enough.
