Siamo stati accolti benissimo da Wilber e sua moglie Delia, sempre disponibili e hanno partecipato a farci vivere un sogno in mezzo al lago. Posto pulito, mangiare eccellente. Se andate all'isola di Uros andate da loro perché e non sbagliate. Qhantany lodge è un posto magico.

Delia and Wilbur are great hosts. We stayed at their lovely place for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. They will help you to get to Uros and accommodate you in the best possible way. If you don’t have clear plans, they will certainly help you with organizing your time! By staying at their place you will get insight stories about Uros and life there. You will get an occasion to try on their local clothes and you may buy from Delia and her family hand-made souvenirs. Delia may prepare a local lunch and/or dinner which is always tasty. Location is beautiful and interior of the houses is delightful - colorful, clean and cosy. Nights can be really cold. Be prepared for that. They may offer bottles with hot water to put in a bed and also a heating which may help you to spend a night. You cannot, however, expect a hotel’s standard as it’s a floating island, not Marriott. Anyway it was one of the best experience in my life and, if I ever traveled to Uros again, I would certainly stay at Uros Qhantany Lodge. Love it!

The rooms are much more comfortable than we expected : spacious, warm (there is even a heater for the cold nights), with an exceptional view! The food is simple but very tasty. The family offers a little traditional boat tour too. We had a great time and would go back if we could! Thanks to this amazing family to have received us so well, Amaru misses the cats ??

The beauty of this lodge is breathtaking sitting on a private island in Uros, owned by our amazing hosts Delia and Wilber who treated us like kings. When my sister and I walked into the room we burst out crying not believing how large the beautifully decorated the colorful room was, filled with incredible views of Lake Titicaca, a king size bed plus a twin bed and the gorgeous deck with an outdoor bed with its canopy . The trout dinner was nutritious, fresh and delicious. 2 meals and breakfast were included, boat pickup transfers and a boat ride were included. Delia and Wilbert were warm, caring, pleasing, their humility and simplicity were very touching. This was a true local, cultural and peaceful experience. I would not stay with anyone els tha. Delia and Wilber fabulous hosts!
