We were hoping for something unforgettable — and that is exactly what we received at the JAZ Elite Aurora Zanzibar. It is a stunning new resort where you can immediately feel how much passion and dedication has gone into creating this place. The entire property has a refined, modern style that blends perfectly with the relaxed atmosphere of Zanzibar. We celebrated our 20th anniversary during this trip, seeking quiet moments, relaxation, and meaningful memories, and the hotel made it truly special. The team went out of their way to make us feel special and appreciated, adding personal touches that turned the occasion into an unforgettable memory. Located in a quiet area, the JAZ Elite Aurora offers the perfect balance of privacy and breathtaking natural beauty. The rhythm of the day is set by the tranquil sea. We loved watching the gentle tide ebb and flow from the shore, and swimming in the bath-warm, unbelievably clear water became our favourite ritual. And not to be forgotten, the sunsets we experienced at the pier every evening were simply breathtaking! Our Swim-Up room was great: elegant, generously sized, and equipped with every comfort. The bed was very comfortable, and the spacious shower was excellent. Daily cleaning was impeccable, and the fresh flowers on the bed each day were a lovely detail. The Swim-Up added an extra sense of relaxation and made our stay feel even more special. Above all else, what makes this resort truly special is its staff. From the team around the property to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, all managers, and even the General Manager, everyone is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring every guest has a memorable stay. Their friendliness is authentic and heartfelt. Special highlights that made our stay exceptional: - The food across all restaurants was superb—diverse, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Credit goes to the outstanding culinary direction, which brings together incredible talent. - Even the smallest request was met with immediate, kind efficiency. Should you need assistance in German, Manager Mr. Youssef speaks the language perfectly, ensuring seamless support. - The beauty of the resort: the pictures truly speak for themselves, yet the reality is even more stunning. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team, with special mention of: General Manager Mr. Domenico Iannone, Executive Assistant Manager Mr. Shaarawy Mahmoud, and Culinary Director Mr. Mohamed Fouad Serag for their outstanding leadership. A very special thank you goes to the ever-present managers, Mr. Youssef Mahmoud and Mr. Zeyad Fouad, for their constant, kind, and attentive support—they truly made us feel at home and safe. Die stilvollen Zimmer sind gro?zügig, lichtdurchflutet und bieten spektakul?re Ausblicke. Durch die Er?ffnungsphase des Hotels hatten wir das besondere Privileg, die Kulinarik in ihrer vollen Vielfalt und Intensit?t zu erleben. Zu jeder Tageszeit verw?hnen die Restaurants mit internationalen Gerichten und einer fantastischen Weinauswahl. Ein besonderes Highlight ist das Teppanyaki-Restaurant, in dem Koch Dipak uns mehrfach verzaubert hat. Besonders hervorzuheben ist jedoch die au?ergew?hnliche Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Vom ersten Moment an spürt man, dass hier echte Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird. Der Hoteldirektor, sein Management Team und jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter haben es geschafft, unseren Aufenthalt sehr pers?nlich und unvergesslich zu machen – mit Herzlichkeit, Professionalit?t und gelebter Leidenschaft.
