This was amazing we were in 2 top rooms 3 and 4, ideal 2 teens one side us the other top floor to ourselves , both lovely views , town side quiet midweek , bfast was amazing , staff so friendly and helpful , we will be coming back, lots to do around local area too , including waterfalls and walks

Great little village pub for food and drinks, lovely village green and very peaceful place, great service from Vicki and the team and we will be back soon. Very dog friendly & welcoming place, nice clean rooms.

Just come back from 2 night stay at the Buck Inn and I have to say that we were so so thrilled with this place. We were made to feel very welcome! The service from Vicki and the other staff was brilliant! The rooms are fantastic, room 6 was excellent. The mattresses are the most comfy mattresses that I have ever slept on! Great power shower!! Lovely choices for breakfast and cooked to perfection! We had dinner on the first night which was excellent; the pizzas are delicious! Ample parking, 20 minute taxi to Ripon for the races, cricket ground. Absolutely brilliant and we look forward to returning!

This was our second two night stopover in 6 weeks. Our favourite watering hole in our favourite part of the country. The Buck Inn offers fantastic choice of quality food, extremely comfortable beds, perfect shower, great views from bedroom window. Very friendly staff and customers. What’s not to like! Will definitely be back again.

A wonderful old pub with very modern rooms. Breakfast was great , view from windows superb. Breakfast exceptional. People in the bar very friendly and helpful. This is an area of England that I don't know well but will explore further when time allows. Only 50 miles from the Northern end of the Lake District

Village green, cricket, Curlews in season, good beer and food, a Yorkshire welcome. A Dales village with views, quiet but handy for the A1 motorway, close to Masham and Bedale, not far from Ripon, or just wander round without going far. A proper pub with a lively convivial bar atmosphere, dining room, functions room, B&B, garden, view of the village green. Fabulous breakfast.

We enjoyed two evening meals at this pub. The food was great and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The menu was varied and we were spoilt for choice. Excellent local ice creams completed our meals which we enjoyed in the garden to the rear of the pub.
