Solo traveller. 3 night stay in late Sept 2023. Mild Monsoon weather. Overall Excellent stay. Room very big, having fridge really helpful, comfy bed and soft pillows. Daily hot shower. AC worked flawless. Grounds are setback, very quiet and pleasant. Nice Indian breakfast selection. High tea from 5-6pm with snacks. I ate out mostly for lunch and dinner, so many veg and no veg places. Only 3 minute walk from hotel to centre of town so no car needed, can explore all on foot. Different vibe during day and night. Nice local shops for tourists and gifts/handicrafts. Reception very helpful from start, big shout out to Ramesh, Rajesh and Istiyak. Helped me with everything from start to finish. Booked local tours from reception, which was safe, good price and helpful drivers. Must visit Lingmala waterfall. There is a local market every Tuesday just outside the hotel so access and checkin is by foot, not car, but well worth seeing.
