I visited Kashmir with my father mid Nov where we stayed at this exceptional houseboat for 3 nights. The Jaqueline Heritage Houseboats team arranged our entire trip from airport collection with private car and driver and Shikari boat ride direct to the accommodation. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff members where I settled in my luxury suite with panoramic views of the lake and open skyline of Srinagar. Great location with easy access to the gorgeous local sites and connections to dreamy destinations of Sonmarg and Gulmarg all chauffeur driven door to door service. At the end of our fun filled day every night we were greeted with a private buffet of a great selection of delicious local and pan Indian dishes. Breakfast equally as plentiful and tasty was served promptly each morning fueling us for the activities ahead. Every detail was taken of and the staff made themselves available at our disposal leaving us satisfied and content for the duration of our stay. Sami was the most pleasant and hospitable host one could ask for making us feel like his royal guests. Honestly, an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. I will visit again and look forward to seeing all the team once again soon

The stay was a very pleasant and memorable experience. The entire boathouse featured beautiful traditional wooden carvings that added a lot of charm and character to the stay. The room on the first floor was very spacious with elegant wooden interiors, and it even had a jacuzzi, which made the stay feel more luxurious. The attached balcony offered a stunning view of the entire lake, making mornings and evenings truly peaceful and scenic. The ground floor had a comfortable living and dining area, ***** with a beautiful balcony where you could even soak your feet directly in the water, which was a unique and relaxing experience. The bedrooms on the ground floor were well-maintained, and the bathrooms came with bathtubs and all necessary facilities, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Amazing food was also served Overall, it was a great blend of traditional design, comfort, and beautiful lake views, highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

This was our 2nd visit to Kashmir and 2nd time stay at The New Jacquline Heritage Houseboat .. It’s truly Home away from Our stay at New jacquline Houseboat was truly memorable. The houseboat beautifully blends traditional Kashmiri charm with modern comfort. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered a stunning view of the Nigeen Lake — waking up to that serene beauty was an experience in itself. The hospitality was exceptional. The hosts were warm, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel at home throughout our stay and guided us with local travel tips, making our Srinagar visit even more special. The food served was delicious — especially the authentic Kashmiri dishes — fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Overall, New Jacquline Houseboat is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Nigeen Lake with genuine Kashmiri hospitality. Amazing location. Perfection peaceful romantic. A dream. The lake the mountai s inspire genuine awe. Heavenly! Perfect for a couple as well as singles. The service is genuinely gracious generous and professional Impossible le tofind anything negative. High standard luxury yet homely welcoming and enchanting. The lapping water the ducks and other birds abound. They mountains are majestic and constantly changing hues of beauty. The food is seriously special. Highest level of cooking presenting and serving. Location is on the lake behind / to the west of Dal lake. The location is quiet. And you can take a taxi or a shikara (boat) to or from. Many houseboats can only be accessed by boat.
