  • Guest：We stayed last night as a stop off to do a walk today. The room was clean, warm and the bed was comfy and had tea and coffee making facilities. The location is good for the lakes if you want to break the journey, takeaways are 5 mins away in seascale along with a coop. It's not fancy, but for ￡45 a night, it did exactly what it needed to for us.
  • Guest：The only complaint about the room was that the skylight blind cord was broken so we couldn't shut out the morning light. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot and good preasure. Otherwise no complaints. A beautiful old building. We would definately stay again.

  • Guest：Easy to find, free parking 200 yards away. The rooms are functional but very clean. During the week (when i stayed) it was very quiet. An excellent shower with plenty of hot water. All round a very good place at a very good price.
