Guest user：Our stay at Marina Piccola 73 was phenomenal. The entire staff made us feel right at home. The accommodations were perfect in every aspect. We could not have asked for a more perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and a small beach without the crowd of beach goers. The view of the bay of Naples including Mount Vesuvius from our balcony was breathtaking. We will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone seeking a wonderful and peaceful Italian experience.
Guest user：This hotel is right on the port of Sorrento so the perfect spot if you plan to get a ferry or boat trip to any of the surrounding areas. The views are absolutely breathtaking. We spent every evening on the terrace where you had beautiful view of mt Vesuvius and the surrounding coastline. The staff were all superb especially the lady that served breakfast and Vincenzo the bar man, the go to an extra effort to make sure all guests are looked after. The rooms were immaculate with all amenities provided and another stunning view from our balcony. The only thing to consider about this hotel is that you are about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the city centre and will need to climb some steep steps although we didn’t mind this. there is a public lift about 5 minutes down the beach front that costs 1.20 per person per journey if you have mobility issues. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento. The price is reasonable compared to other hotels of the same standard in the area and the elevated service and amazing views makes it stand out in my opinion.
Guest user：What a perfect stay. Wonderful hotel in Marina Piccola, away from the port crowds but within walking distance to all of the action. We stayed for 7 days in early September and were so comfortable and relaxed. The rooms are beautiful and very clean (as well as having a great AC unit, iron, hair dryer, safe, mini-bar and mini-fridge). The room had a balcony overlooking the water where we could watch the boats and port activity, as well as see the fireworks, enjoy the amazing view of Mount Vesuvius and hear the waves at night. The hotel staff are INCREDIBLE - the owners Roberta and Alice were so kind, helpful and responsive, as well as Mariarita. They arranged our transfer from Rome to Sorrento which was such a huge help, as well as making dinner reservations for us which was much appreciated. There is an amazing terrace overlooking the water where we had breakfast made by the amazing and talented Donatella, as well as delicious drinks in the evening made by Vincenzo who was also so kind and gracious. Absolutely loved it and would stay here next time without question. 5+++ stars.
Guest user：We cannot say enough about this lovely hotel. From our arrival where we were met by the concierge, Mary, in the area outside to guide us into the parking area, we felt so at home. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the Marina and the ocean. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. The rooftop bar was delightful with great service from Vincenzo. This is also the breakfast area in the morning. So delightful. The breakfast included fresh pastries,cake, quiche,fruit,charcuterie,cheese jam, toast and delicious cappuccino served in this beautiful setting outside, which made it all the more special. We were offered eggs, but declined as the breakfast served was amazing. The service and hospitality were impeccable. The owner went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and we appreciated her and her staff. Everyone was wonderful! The hotel is near the elevator to the beautiful town of Sorrento which for a small fee takes you up to the town without breaking a sweat with all those stairs, and delivers you in the middle of an incredible shopping and dining area. If you wish to take one the ferries to the Amalfi coast, they are at your doorstep in the Marina. We hated to leave but will definitely return.
