Nice clean room, didn't look tired like some hotels these days. Nice well laid out breakfast was the usual continental or english, wife didn't like the muesili but everything else was tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff friendly as always, ate in the bar for dinner, arrived close to service closing but still served us.

Great hotel. Very clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming. Espeically Lisa who made us feel at home. The breakfast was also delicious. Thanks Lisa for all your kindness.

Friendly and helpful check-in and cleaning staff. Generous check-out time (midday) and no problem when we checked out slightly late. Located very close to train station and peaceful canal.

Very poor service all round Check in time changed on arrival. Paperwork & website said 2pm, receptionist said 3pm & never guaranteed anywhere. Slow service at lunch, 40 min wait for pancakes & pork sausage in a bun despite no other customers. No charge point or socket on one side of the bed. Bottom sheet on bed too small, didn't fit, not fitted, so moved with you when you turned over. Duvet not wide enough, only covered 3/4 of bed. Shower area in a poor state (see photos), broken & cracked pieces & slide rail adjuster not working and large gap behind extractor fan, not fitted properly.

Clean and safe to stay

Prima kamer en ook prima ontbijt. Enige wat minder was, was het diner. Dat was echt niet goed. De biefstuk was taai en vol pezen en de curry was net soep.

We had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away. The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times. The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didn’t need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldn’t have been able to climb into the bath to use it. Breakfast was excellent.
