This will be our second visit to Maria Giovanna, again we were not disappointed. The place is spotless, comfortable rooms, excellent cooked breakfast to your liking in addition to a selection of cereals, jams , cakes, cheeses , hams etc. Hosts Sonia and her friendly staff made us welcome and provide an excellent service. Highly recommend. Just 2 minutes walk away from the sea. Thank you.

Het Guesthouse wordt gerund door twee vriendelijke zussen, Sonia en Anna. Het Guesthouse is genoemd naar hun grootmoeder en moeder. Rustig gelegen, de zee is om de hoek. Kamers zijn bemeubeld met nogal oud (antiek) meubilair zoals een ijzeren ledikant en een houten was/kaptafel. Het ontbijt bestaat uit zelfgemaakt brood, confituur, gebak en is erg lekker.

This was my second visit this summer and I can’t think of anywhere else I would rather stay. Sonia and her team of wonderful ladies make you feel like you are at home. The house is impeccably clean, the breakfast is amazing and the staff always have a smile and time for a chat. Looking forward to my next visit as soon as possible, Sonia, you know how much it means to me staying at Maria Giovanna ??

Ne cherchez plus ailleurs une Guest House à Gozo, celle-ci est tout simplement parfaite. J’avais réservé pour 2 jours … nous sommes restés une semaine chez Sonia et Anna. Sonia est adorable est prête à tout pour rendre service, conseiller, bref, tout faire pour que le séjour soit parfait. La Guest House est refaite à neuf avec ascenseur en conservant le charme des vieilles maisons de l’?le, une quinzaine de chambres superbes, et tout cela sur le port directement. Les restaurants sont tous au pied de la Guest House qui est parfaitement située car centrale sur la c?te nord pour aller indifféremment à l’Est ou à l’ouest grace à un réseau de lignes de bus parfait, l’arrêt de bus est à 100m. Ou en taxi car l’?le est minuscule et les courses en taxi ne co?tent rien ici à Gozo. Et si on désire être basé plus au sud Sonia a une autre Guest House à Victoria, Casa Gemelli, avec exactement les mêmes qualités. Et enfin, pour avoir une expérience plus countryside, Sonia a une 3ème Guest House, Maria’s B&B, à 2/3 kms de là, identique dans l’esprit aux 2 premières. Ces 3 Guest House c’est une affaire de famille avec tout le temps les mêmes exigences de qualité, d’accueil, de service et de disponibilité. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux, tout est home made, des confitures aux sablés et autres cakes et muffins. Et les breakfasts à l’anglaise sont à tomber !!! Spécial clin d’?il au père de Sonia qui très gentiment toute la journée est là avec son merveilleux sourire pour s’inquiéter de savoir si la journée se passe bien. A wonderful stay in this delightful family guesthouse. Friendly, helpful hosts who provide lovely clean and very comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast including a wide range of homemade jams and pastries. Thank you for our very enjoyable stay. We hope to visit again.

Tutto! La struttura è super accogliente! Sonia ( la titolare), è una persona splendida, magnifica! Super gentile e super disponibile a qualsiasi tipo di info e esigenza, parla anche italiano. Ci ha trattati con i guanti, quasi come se fosse una mamma... Anche il papà di Sonia è super gentile e super disponibile! La colazione è super! Tutto home made, ma tutto super buono! Dalla colazione all'inglese preparata sull momento a quella più all'italiana. Ci siamo trovati divinamente. La struttura è molto bella, ben curata e ben tenuta. Ci è dispiaciuto molto andare via...ma ogni cosa bella, come inizia ahimè finisce. Un saluto da Luciano e Selena di Torino ??

This is a quaint family run guest house, two minutes from the bay. Excellent all round, comfortable and spotless room, good breakfast made to your liking, thank you to Sonia and all staff who are all friendly and helpful. Well done. Will definitely recommend.

Another great stay at the guesthouse. It has lost none of it`s quaintness and charm since I visited last year. The rooms are spotless, and the en suite fittings are of a high standard. I look forward to returning soon !

Un accueil chaleureux et familial. Le cadre est charmant. La chambre est bien équipée. La salle de bain également.Mention spéciale pour les confitures et les gateaux maison du petit déjeuner. L’h?tel est à c?té de la mer. L’arrêt de bus est à 200m . Pratique pour rejoindre tous les lieux de l’?le.Je recommande cette adresse

This is a family run guesthouse, and you can tell as it’s is just perfect in every way. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, with a wonderful modern bathroom. Beds were so comfortable so sleep was not a problem. Lovey selection for breakfast, from continental to the good old English and everything in between. The location could not be better either, out of the door, 20 paces or so and the promenade and beach awaits with a large number of restaurants bars etc. stay away from the big chain hotels and book a stay here. You won’t regret it.
