Guest：Beautiful view. It has a .6 mile walk down cobble stone steps to the ferry. So be prepared to walk. But very doable and worth it! Loved our stay!
Guest：This apartment is darling and has a great view of the lake. Furnishings are contemporary and comfortable. It was super quiet. Communication and transportation to and from this apartment are not great. 1. You will need to go to their office in Como, trek 1.5 miles to their office or take an Uber (our estimate was $62 USD) to do this- which is a major downside for this unit. The company needs someone at the property to meet you or a better way to validate passport credentials. 2. This is a new EU regulation, that passed in November of 2024, the company communicated this to us one week before our cancelation period and NEVER answered any emails sent (all on ******* account) about if we would need to drop keys off, etc. 3. The great news, is that because of this detour we got to take a $150 taxi ride from Como to Menaggio because the ferries were sold out. Why is this great news? Well, our taxi driver dropped us at the door! Otherwise, get ready for a very intense walk. You are walking 1.5 miles ALL UP HILL and 75% of it on cobblestone or rock walking paths (not great if you have any luggage and assuming you actually find the walking path as it is not something Google has yet to discover- we found it on our walk down). Take a taxi- even if you arrive at the ferry station! It will cost you $30 and you won't care! Book it for your return as well. My only other annoyance is that this place is in need of an exterminator. There are ants in the bathroom and kitchen.
