We stayed 3 nights (a water view room with king bed a partial view room with 2 beds) Both rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. We had daily housekeeping which was a plus. The daily breakfast was very nice. The dock and palapa were very nice (& sturdy). I was a little disappointed that we were told the restaurant only serves the "included breakfast" and no other menu items. I was looking forward to eating the food that I keep seeing on the social media photos. One reason I chose this hotel was because they serve breakfast and lunch, only to find out that is not the case. The bar closed at 7pm, but online it shows 8pm. Not deal breakers, but perhaps the info should be updated accordingly. If you don't feel like going to town, there is a fabulous restaurant/bar that is about a 5 minute walk, I highly recommend- Chiltepin Marisquillos. Taxis for hotel to town are only 80 pesos each way.

Really liked this friendly lakeside hotel on the outskirts of the town. Breakfast was fine but there were extras that could be added or alternatives for a price. Good restaurants for other meals a short walk away and the centre of Bacalar only 20 minutes. Nice small town.

The staff makes tbe property. Front desk girls. Diane and Karen. Raiz resraurant and b@r , Ruby, Ashley and the ones i didn't get their names. Beautiful people. Helpful and kind. Cleaning staff do a fantastic job.
All in all worth every dollar and much much more.

Llegué con una amiga el día viernes 15 de noviembre a la 13:30 p.m. a la recepción del hotel. No fue un día soleado, pero pudimos disfrutar de los servicios y comodidades de las instalaciones. Nos entregaron una habitación cómoda, ambientada y limpia. En recepción, nos entregaron una hoja, en donde venía los lugares/restaurantes/actividades turísticos que se pueden hacer en los alrededores; al igual que los horarios de su restaurante y de lo anteriormente mencionado. Lo que destaca del hotel Aldea 19 es la cercanía de la laguna de Bacalar de los 7 colores, que puedes meterte con toda seguridad, tiene camastros, y columpios en el agua. Teníamos desayuno incluido y pudimos disfrutar de un desayuno rico y completo y jugo fresco. Recomiendo ir con familia/en pareja/o solo. las instalaciones y los servicios lo permiten.

Excelente hotel acogedor, las vistas hermosas de la laguna, el trato de sus empleados hicieron de nuestras vacaciones las mejores, y te ayudan si no tienes tours a conseguirlos con su gente de confianza, lo mejor, gracias muy agradecida por todo. Hasta la próxima

Lovely small hotel on the lake
We walked into the town, though it is a longish half an hour walk. Our room has a patio overlooking the lake. It also overlooked the staff drinks breakfast station :(. Our room and bathroom were well appointed. Shame you have to choose between juice or fruit at breakfast, or pay extra. You can swim in the lake, or relax at sunbeds or the hammocks. The hosts also offer competitively priced catamaran trips.

Excelente opción para un buen desayuno, pan de masa madre hecho en casa y la.vista es muy bonita , el pan de plátano y sus conchas son muy ricas, Recomiendo ampliar su menú para almuerzos puesto que solo hay alimentos de 8 am a 2 ok y es el mismo menú, precio promedio de 150 pesos por platillo
