One week in the sun, beautiful surroundings, friendly hotel. Views that couldn't be beaten, everything you could need for a relaxing holiday.

We have just come back from a week at the Zante Palace and thought it was absolutely brilliant. We had a top floor room (427) with the most incredible views of the sea and the swimming pool. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was very special indeed. Our room was cleaned daily, by lovely friendly smiling staff and the entire hotel seemed spotless. I was so impressed. It’s a smallish pool but it was never busy. We were the first to put our towels down at 9.30am! The sun doesn’t hit the pool til around then. There was always plenty of room for my two teenagers to jump in and swim about in. There’s a little cordoned off area for toddlers but most of the pool is quite deep. If you’re an animal lover then this hotel is for you! There are cats everywhere (there’s a big stray cat problem in Zakynthos) & even two resident dogs. I was talking to the manager who told me that if an animal makes its way up the hill to them, then it has a home there. Hence why they have so many! Which truly warned my heart. And although there was plenty of water and biscuits left out for them all when we were there I still took wet food which they all devoured. (Don’t worry if you’re not an animal lover, they don’t bother you unless you fuss over them.) Then there’s the hill. We are an active family so it didn’t bother us in the slightest. Yes it was tough dragging our cases up but by about day two we were totally used to it. It is 100% worth it for the spectacular views you get once you’re at the top. However if you do have mobility problems then the hotel isn’t for you because as well as the hill there are steps leading up and down all over the place. I didn’t rate the breakfast at all which is the only reason I’m dropping down to four stars. Pretty basic, food tepid, drink machines & cheap toasters all squashed together. But we ate at the bar one day and that was great. I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not offering evening meals as sitting there watching the sun set on the horizon would be such an unforgettable experience. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away. We spent two days there (sunbeds averaging 20€ for a pair) and that was a nice change from the pool. The main bars/restaurants are about 5 minutes walk in the other direction and there’s a supermarket at the bottom of the hill I would hugely recommend this hotel. The views are outstanding, it’s spotlessly clean, it’s quiet and peaceful and it has everything you need close by. We loved it. And don’t forget your wet cat food if you’re a cat lover!

Stayed here for one week as a family of 3. The room was spacious and had everything you need with a beautiful view. Air con was an extra €49 which i think should be included in the price. Breakfast basic but ok for a light breakfast. Pool area clean and always sunbeds available. The hotel is up a steep hill so not good if you have mobility issues, also a fair few steps to get to rooms and the pool. Im only giving this a 3 star as we hardly got any sleep due to barking dogs all night. They seem to be let out at 11pm and let back in at 6am. I spoke to a man at reception- he didn't care. Also the smell of cat urine and poo every where is so strong. Made us all feel very sick.

Cudowny hotel z widokiem na morze, pi?kna ro?linno??. R?czniki wymieniane co drugi dzień, ?mieci zabierane codziennie, pokój z aneksem kuchennym wyposa?ony w podstawowe przybory, ?niadania skromne ale wystarczaj?ce. Dla mnie super miejsce zw?aszcza ?e do morza na piechot? jest ok 8 minut. Hotel usytuowany na wzgórzu wi?c trzeba troch? si? podej?? nad górk?.

We have just had a lovely 9 nights staying at Zante palace . We had a studio room on the top floor room 323 it had the best views at sunset over the town of Tsilivi . This hotel has so much potential to make it fantastic the reception area is dark and not very bright, but the pool area and food area was lovely and clean and the staff very pleasant and friendly. The bar area stops serving food at 6pm Like I said this hotel should offer more because a sunset dining experience would be perfect. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you have any health conditions because the hill is a killer up to the reception area . We hired a car for 3 days from the reception they brought the car to the hotel and I would recommend people in hiring a car to explore this lovely island. Would I come again that would be a definite yes .

We had a very nice holiday on Zante Palace! Of course there was a hill and a few steps to climb to get to the hotel but then again the view was spectacular. We enjoyed Zante Palaces hospitality. It was cozy and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice but we especially enjoyed the beach nearby. We really loved Zante Palaces cats and dogs. If we ever come to Zakynthos and Tsilivi again, we will definitely stay at Zante Palace again!

This is quite a hard review to give as the experience is mixed but this hotel could have potential. The hotel is situated in the hills over looking Tsilivi and the views are amazing (see pictures). The rooms are decent enough, although the air con was not consistent at times. The room was cleaned daily and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is quiet as it is away from the main town but still close enough to shops and the beach. There are a few challenges here though. If you have issues with walking or mobility this hotel is not for you. It’s set on a massive slope and even taxi drivers are not allowed to drive up. There is no lift and there are no ramps to access rooms with suitcases. If you are fitness freak it’s ideal though! Also the management team don’t help you with your cases. There are lots of additional costs as well. 100 euros for 2 weeks air con, 25 euros for airport tax and 20 euros for a safe! I don’t get why any hotel charges for a safe!! Also, the hotel was winding down for the winter break and closing facilities before we left, including the pool!! The snack bar is also very expensive. As I say this could be a great experience given the location and potential.

Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms. Towels and bed changed every other day. Breakfast is OK you get by on it but not a great choice. It would be better if there were fresh fruit on offer. The only thing that would put me off returning is the hill, it's a struggle and I think I'm reasonably fit, it cuts down the amount of times you go out each day because of the thought of walking back up. A lift from the ground would be an added bonus. The views are stunning but not worth the hike to get them.

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir an der Rezeption sehr freundlich entgegen genommen und uns wurde alles notwendige erkl?rt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war überschaubar, also nix für Leute, die gro?e Auswahl ben?tigen. Für uns war es vollkommen ausreichend, da alles notwendige vorhanden und vor allen lecker war. Insgesamt war das Hotel nicht überlaufen und sehr ruhig. Zu Fu? ist man sehr schnell am Strand oder in der Innenstadt mit zahlreichen Restaurants. Aufgrund der Hanglage ist die Aussicht traumhaft.

I have just returned from a lovely holiday at the Zante Palace. The room was extremely spacious and the best equipped studio I have stayed in whilst in Greece. The bathroom was excellent with a shower cubicle and the kitchenware was spotless. The view is exceptional, particularly for a sunset. The hill is steep and not suitable for those with mobility problems but is otherwise manageable. Breakfast is basic but adequate with a reasonable selection. As for comments regarding lots of cats, we saw two or three plus the two resident dogs which were very sweet and kept themselves to themselves. The maid was lovely and worked extremely hard in the very hot temperatures.
