Guest：The rooms are pretty, location is great. Kitchen not many options for vegetarians but chef and staff helpful. HOWEVER: -for 6000 rupees a night you expect basic cleanliness. The room floors were so dirty it felt like they had never been cleaned before. Our feet were completely BLACK after walking in the room. This was supposed to be a treat for mother in law but she ended up being horrified by the dirtiness of the floor. -there are fleas or some other insect that jumps onto your ankles and feet and bite -there is exactly 45 seconds of hot water for shower, after that just cold. -no access to the river from the property but seems like waste water goes right into the river. -you need to beg a little to get more than 1 liter of drinking water per day per person, no refill stations for those who dont want to use plastic. -they are understaffed and the current staff lacks basic training.
Guest：I did a sudden planning as there were few days which i got amidst my busy schedule, and so wanted to make the most of it. As i always loved to drive long distances, my main preferences are obviously the good roads, the best routes and also a comfortable stay. White the first two, i had less control on, but for the latter i always made sure that i get into the best of the choices. And, so was this "Maaya Riverside", which didn't upset me on anything. Right from the hospitality, the courteousness of the staffs, and the facilities they offer, and also the class of infrastructure they provide. Though there were limited options in terms of the rooms and the categories, but i would definitely say that, that's how it should be. The crowd was moderate, and the service was quick enough, and on time mostly. I stayed in their pool villa category room. The room layout is just awesome, and the interior been set to a different class all-together. There was absolute privacy too. The room overlooked the Bhavani river, and could also sight few troops of monkeys swinging and swimming, which was quite something we would take time to watch, when we relax. The food was also very tasty. The location of the property is just at the confluence of two rivers Siruvani and Bhavani. Siruvani, the river which carries the sweetest water, is the second of it's kind in the world, as per the UNESCO rating. The property has electrified fence around their boundary, as there are threat of wild elephants. Unfortunately, couldn't spot any, in our two nights of stay there. Overall a memorable and relaxing experience. A Must Visit place, if you could find some time to keep yourself away from your regular chores. Route : Onward Travel : As i travelled from Trivandrum, i had taken the regular route via Kochi-Trissur-Palakkad-Coimbatore-Aanakatti Return Route : Aanakatti-Mannarkkadu-Palakkad-Trissur-Kochi-Trivandrum. I would suggest you take the Coimbatore route for To/Fro travel. Though its a little more of drive, but thats the best road you could get, at this point in time.[Except for a few patches after the Thadaakom of Coimbatore]
Guest：Loved our stay here. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The pool villa is one of the best . The staffs are Friendly and very accommodating with requests . They took special care of elderly. It’s kids friendly with the common pool & play area . They have activities planned which keeps us engaged like campfire , cycling and River visit ( my personal favourite) and the staffs see to your comfort throughout. The property has a Beautiful view around . Only improvement would be to expand their food Menu selection . Will definitely visit again !
Guest：We went for a Day Vacation there and spend a day there. The Place was Calm, Refreshing with the sounds of birds and near by two rivers. The Resort is lush Green. The Swimming Pool was located in a very nice viewable place. The Food was great here. Highly Recommended.
