  • Guest：One of our favourite hotels to stay at ! Clean friendly and rooms are charming, always stay here if I am in the area
  • Guest：The hotel has loads of character and history and is very comfortable and pleasant including my room, but the television had very few channels (no ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 to name 2) and the reception was dreadful; the picture on every channel was pixilated and couldn't be watched. It was very disappointing.
  • Guest：Breakfast was really great! I had a trad English cooked fresh. Could not fault it.
  • Guest：I always enjoy staying here. Historic building with character. Spacious and comfortable room. Very good service. Breakfast is a little pricey, but it is worth it: one is paying not just for the quality of the food, but also the ambience: proper table service (instead of the ubiquitious buffet) in a wonderful breakfast room. Cannot wait to return.
