Guest：This is the second time we have visited this hotel and again the breakfast fell far from expectations to have no vegetarian sausages on the menu for a second time is just not good enough, not only that as health conscious individuals there was no natural yogurt!! Available no wholemeal bread!! And the four Bananas that were there were soft brown and should have been thrown away !!!! We visit premier inns alot from london to Cumbria this has to be the worst for service, and food options EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING we will definitely not be staying again.
Guest：Booked the hotel for a pre-Christmas stay while visiting my family. The price was excellent and the family room was spacious, clean and tidy. The staff were very professional, polite and helpful. The cooked buffet breakfast was good and hot. The usual continental breakfast was available including Nutella if required. The location is perfect for visiting both West Cumbria and North Lakes areas. The hotel is on the A66, two minutes drive from Cockermouth Town Centre and within easy drive of all main roads leading North, South, East and West. Would stay agin.
Guest：Stayed for 4 nights between Christmas and New Year as a family. Room absolutely spotless Reception staff Toni and Joanne were amazing and super friendly Special shout out to Louise on night shift who had to evacuate a hotel full of guests on New Years Eve and she managed this perfectly … Well done Excellent stay and would recommend
Guest：We came over on Monday 29th December to visit family. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms are always spotless. Beds are so comfy. The biggest shout out has to go to Louise. Unfortunately on our stay, early hours of New Year’s Day, the fire alarms went off at around 2:50am. We all had to evacuate. Louise was on her own and handled the situation absolutely brilliantly. She even gave my daughter her jacket and she went without. It was very cold and she was just a super star. To handle that situation on her own was admirable and she deserves a massive shout out! Thank you Louise.
