Overnight stay on business, clean and tidy room in the Mews facing the car park, hotel in great location and staff welcoming. Happily stay here again next time I’m in the area.

On arrival No one was on reception so I stood while numerous members of staff walked past me so I went into bar then a bald headed man came not the happiest person but maybe as it was New Year’s Day wished he wasn’t in .we were in room 9 the window was wide open so room was freezing then realised radiator didn’t work as a plug in one was there I wanted to move rooms as been winter did not want to be cold .The radiator in bathroom is far too small aswell that room was freezing whole time .overall stay was fine we didn’t have breakfast as over ￡30 is steep on top of room great location would stay again but not at full price or in that room

Rooms spacey and really lovely, ed very comfortable and sleep very well, hotel was really nice and food excellent, highly recommend this hotel

Wonderful stay. Greeted initially by a friendly face from Louise who was very informative and quick check-in. Slept like a log, very comfortable bed. Great sized room, well-equipped bathroom with a shower that had great pressure. Lovely area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely spacious and clean room, with a wonderful view of the town square. Had a very relaxing stay and will definitely be back.

Nicely furnished clean room & well equipped with complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits. Also had a nespresso coffee machine & pods.

Our room was clean and all the staff in the hotel were kind curtious and couldn't do any more to make our stay better.

Staff were great and happy to explain the history of the hotel. Very comfortable room and relaxing lounge areas.
