We stayed at Yatai Inn in Lijiang during the Chinese New Year. We spent one night before heading to Tiger Leaping Gorge for a night, and returned to this same hotel for our third and final night in Lijiang. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although we do not speak Chinese, the staff reached out on WeChat and met us in the old town to guide us to the hotel by walking. They even held our extra bags for the one night we stayed on the mountain. The room was sparkling clean and as pictured. The location is ideal because it is central to the old town of Lijiang, yet off the main pathway to add some privacy. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Lijiang, and I would recommend it to singles, couples, or families.
