Guest：We picked this location for the indoor pool for our kids but water was freezing cold, plus we didn't have warm water on our room for a whole day. Staff was nice but overall not a good experience.
Guest：Room had musky, sweaty smell, sheets and beding had hairs still on them. The fridge didn't work and we had to get that fixed. The bathroom vent was making a loud sound almost as if the fan inside was hitting something metalic. Only plus side was breakfast purchase option was worth it and i would like to give my complement to the chef who cooked the breakfast on that day.
Guest：Penny took good care of us. We had a problem in the middle of the night with a toilet that would not quit running. Things happen. Moving to another room at 1:30AM is not a pleasant experience. Next morning Penny bought us coffee at Starbuck's and made sure we were taken care of. didn't push for a refund but probably could have gotten a partial. We will keep this property on our list of places to stay in Myrtle Beach.
Guest：My main complaint this visit, is simply that I arrived early (around noon) and tried to check in. A room wouldn't be available for an hour I was told. Fine. I waited an hour and was then told it would be an extra $25 to take the room before 2:00 p.m. I've never heard of such a practice from any other hotel. If a room is ready, regardless of the official 3 pm check-in time, I've never been charged extra for checking in "early." I declined the $25 up-charge and had to wait until after 2:00 to check in. Just didn't seem very customer-friendly, And this up-charging needs to be communicated better for all reservations. Everything else was great; cleanliness, service other than check-in, big room, great value etc.
