Guest：Ate twice here during our recent stay in Braithwaite which in itself, is a stament that speaks volumes. Found at the uppermost end of the village, the Coldeale Inn isn't quite as obvious as the other main pub in the village but never the less just as busy, if not busier. I guess that if you know, you know! Great selection of well kept local ales and affordable well portioned pub grub. If you're fortunate to be blessed with visiting on a sunny day, be sure to grab a table in the beer garden and appreciate the setting. Does get busy, so you do need to book. Would recommend.
Guest：We used to be regular guests and were delighted to return after a few years to find it the same, friendly, cosy pub / hotel. It’s been in the same family since the late 80s and still run in the same informal but efficient way. It’s a perfect place to stay for walkers, boots and dogs are welcome. Great beer garden, snug bar, dining pub room and slightly more formal dining room. Good hearty food and great breakfasts.
Guest：Fabulous Sunday dinner, brisket was beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel. Accept dogs, friendly staff . Been going for a few years. Great garden to sit out during the summer, if we get one. Always seem to find room even if we don’t book. Good selection of real ales.
Guest：Going for a family meal, the restaurant felt comfortable, nice and relaxing. The restaurant felt good in a familiar type setting, an open fire available when wet, windy and cold. Beautiful decor done in a family type setting. Stunning views and walks around the inn too
