The hotel is in a nice location with spectacular views. The pool is lovely and the meals were decent. The rooms are very outdated - we had a family suite and it was weird - felt like it was a mix of southwestern US vibe with cheesy Italian decorations and furnishing. The best thing about the place is the pool and views, so if you’re looking for an Instagram vibe - have at it during sunset. It definitely needs some updating. Property just was a bit cluttered and messy. Spa services were strange with overly chatty masseurs. If I could give a 3.5, I would but I’m being generous with a 4.

Service was subpar and accommodations were not what you’d expect from the price. Carpet in bedrooms never cleaned. A 3 star resort at best but definitely not a luxury resort

What an amazing experience! Delamore Lodge was our first stop of a three week vacation in New Zealand and that's actually not fair! I knew it would be better than your typical nice place, but this was unreal! We were picked up at the ferry by a member of the Delamore staff, Nacho (super helpful every time we interacted with him) and he brought us to the Lodge for a very personal check in (complete with a glass of champagne), and tour of the facility. Wow, it has the most breathtaking views and warm, comfortable rooms and common areas. What a first class delight. We knew we'd be tired after a long flight so we booked their 3 course dinner with wine pairing for the night we arrived. The evening started with delicious canapes/appetizers and a high-end cocktail and then we sat for 3-course dinner. We had delicious farm duck on seasonal greens, gulf snapper on heirloom carrots with kumara gnocchi following by Belgian chocolate fondant with chocolate mint ice cream - a truly wonderful meal and evening! This is a small lodge, with just 6 rooms, and one thing I really enjoyed was their canape/cocktail hour when the guests would come together and you can talk with them. We met some wonderful people and shared tips on our travels. Our room looked out to a little patio and beautiful lawn that was visited by groups of bunnies each evening - too cute! I took a dip and quick swim in their gorgeous infinity pool, overlooking Owhanake Bay. Oh and breakfast was delicious each morning. Team members Lendy and Felle were terrific, they did so much to help us and make us even more excited about the rest of our trip ahead. We had amazing trip overall, but I definitely wish we had stayed at the Delamore more than two nights!

We took full advantage of the lodge to relax and acclimate after traveling for three days from the opposite end of the earth. Staff are friendly, food and wine is excellent. The sauna and jacuzzi offer restoration at the end of the day

Outstanding venue with incredibly attentive service. We didn't eat in for dinner so cannot comment but breakfast was lovely with remarkable views.? Maybe an a la carte option for breakfast would have mad ir perfect.

We had a truly special weekend at Delamore Lodge. From Adam’s warm welcome at the ferry to our departure, everything was flawless. The team were genuine, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The lodge itself is beautiful, with wonderful shared spaces, and the attention to detail was outstanding.

I didn't stay at the resort, but I was at the property and it seems unreal. After a long hike, we were tired to reach the car and were not sure if we were going in the right direction. We stopped at the Lodge and ADAM immediately offered to help us find the car. We found the car with his help and our memory of where it could be:) And the other young man at the front desk was wonderful (I don't know his name). But ADAM deserves a top salary and all the best! We will definitely stay in this little paradise with such wonderful staff the next time we come to New Zealand. Thank you ADAM one more time!

We arrived by helicopter, and received a nice tour by the pilot which oriented to the area. The caveat to the helicopter is that it is not located at Auckland airport, but instead it is 20-30 min drive toward Auckland. Also, there are also limited timeframes within which you can land at the hotel instead of at Waiheke’s airport. The lodge has gorgeous views over the ocean. It is situated within a few minutes drive to town, but far enough away to feel remote. It was easy to get taxis and the lodge would drive you to places on the island and pick you up if it was before 9 pm. There are a couple of very nice hiking trails within walking distance of the lodge. Our room had a large common area with kitchenette and two bedrooms. The main bedroom was fairly large and had a fabulous balcony. The other bedroom was quite small and did not have an en-suite bathroom. The large jacuzzi for the hotel was interesting, but more of a large very warm pool with few jets. The staff were attentive and very responsive to requests. The tasting menu and wine pairing was truly exceptional. I would return for that alone. Breakfast was good, but not nearly as good as the tasting. That said, the pastries were incredible.

Indeed we do only allow landings between 11am-4pm each day due to restrictions being located in a residential area. And yes the Two Bedroom Apartment you were staying in even though it is two bedroom and two bathroom, only has one Master ensuite with the second bedroom and bathroom across the hallway from one another! Regarding our Jacuzzi, heated at 38 degrees celcius, is very large in size for a jacuzzi with being able to seat up to around 10 people quite comfortably. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the food that the lodge offers. Our chefs do a wonderful job with the local produce we are lucky to have access to! Many thanks again for staying, and hope we have the opportunity to have you stay again at the lodge.

My husband and I stayed at Delamore Lodge last weekend - it was absolutely fabulous, one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in! Even before we arrived, the staff (particularly Adam and Nehan) were incredibly helpful in answering various questions about our stay and transport around the island. When we arrived it was like walking into a little corner of Paradise - our room was gorgeous and very private and the views absolutely stunning. The Lodge itself is very stylish with a lovely infinity pool and beautiful tropical gardens. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, in particular, Nehan and Cendré (apologies if I have misspelt the name) and gave us such personal service. We had the three course menu one evening, which was delicious. Unfortunately the Lodge was not able to accommodate us on our second evening, but again Nehan was very helpful in sending us recommendations for other restaurants close by and making the booking for us. Even though we were not eating there, we were given a delicious charcuterie board with our complimentary evening drinks. We cannot recommend Delamore Lodge highly enough - it is a very special place.
