The welcome, atmosphere, location, facilities, breakfast and charming Dino ensuring everything is 100% makes this a delightful place to stay. We like that it's a safe short walk into Franschhoek and that everything feels so relaxed. The pool area is charming and our suite had a private patio too. Breakfast is cooked to order and served in the formal dining room or on the vine terrace. We look forward to returning soon.

We were highly impressed by the level of accommodation and the service we received from Dino and the team. It felt like a home away from home. The views of the mountains from the property are outstanding. It was lovely being surrounded by the property’s vine yards There was the excellent breakfast. The wood fire at breakfast time and in the evening made it extra special.

This is a great place to stay – it’s an old manor house converted into about six rooms, most of them spacious suites with lovely views and modern bathrooms. The ambience of the whole house is great, the grounds are well maintained, the swimming pool glistens and Deano leads the team effortlessly, ensuring that the excellent served breakfast is always first class. We love it.

We had an exceptional stay at Cape Vue in October 2024 - a good time to visit Franschoek - few crowds and easy to make dining reservations. There is a vineyard on property and a comp bottle of wine was a nice touch. The Gen Mngr, Dino, was extremely helpful and even arranged to get my SUV washed onsite after several days on safari with it. He was a former chef, as was his son, and the Eggs Benedict he custom prepared each morning were outstanding. The property was a short walk to downtown and the Huguenot Memorial was right next door. Very reasonably priced for the location and the exceptional room, decor in the public spaces, wine and food.

Unseren Aufenthalt in diesem G?stehaus haben wir sehr genossen. Das Zimmer mit dem fantastisch Ausblick war sehr sch?n . Das sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Personal hat den Aufenthalt nach oben hin perfekt abgerundet. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Eine tolle Auswahl an zubereiteten Eiern in allen Variationen, die selbstverst?ndlich frisch zubereitet wurden. Die Lage des G?stehauses ist perfekt, da es nur circa 3 Minuten Fu?weg von Franschoeck Centrum entfernt liegt.

We booked this on recommendation of friends, and it was wonderful. Deano created a very warm welcome, the room was delightful, spacious and yet charming "country chic". Breakfast was tasty and it was lovely to curl up in the lounge on a couple of evenings, in front of the roaring fire It's a quiet location, not far from Hugenot monument, yet easy to walk into town for supper each evening. We look forward to returning

Beautiful property - loved the style, rooms and views - lovely gardens and pool area Excellent location~ peaceful but only a few minutes walk to the Main Street in franschhoek Delicious breakfast- fantastic staff team - Dino is a star! Highly recommend this property

Traumhaft gelegen! Tolle Aussicht. Alles sauber und liebevoll! Alle sehr sehr freundlich und sympathisch! Frühstück ein Traum! Man kann sehr gut zu Fu? in die Stadt laufen. Rund um perfekter Aufenthalt. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen!

Beautiful house set amongst the vineyards. Owner couldn’t do enough for us & was very informative about the local area, even booking a restaurant for us. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. I Especially loved the homemade bread. Thank you very much, we will definitely book again if we come back to South Africa.

This hotel is 7+ star hotel. The manager is really nice and helpful. The hotel only has 6 rooms and our group has booked entire hotel. We all had wonderful time and we all wish that we can stay longer. I am sure that I will visit Franschhoek again.
