Beautiful location, fantastic swimming pool and right on the beach. Would have been 4/5 stars had it not been for the following issues: Firstly, no designated smoking areas meant that the eating area was quite smokey at times from smokers sitting on the verandah which isn’t very nice when eating breakfast or sitting in the lounge area. Secondly, a word of advice if you have paid a deposit make sure you have the documentation to prove it as we were questioned at check out and called again at the airport asking us to pay an outstanding night which we already paid and had shown the manager proof. Manager could do well to learn some basic customer service skills. He did however eventually apologise by email once he’s found the payment on their antiquated system. To summarise I would stay at this hotel again if they sorted the smoking issues.

Smokers spoil the experience for the non-smokers. The shared indoor spaces are smoke-filled all day long. If you have lung disease, or airways sensitivity, this hotel poses challenges. The management are powerless to control the environment in the shared indoor spaces due to smokers lighting up in the shared dining area. It is such a shame that such a beautiful hotel in such an iconic location is spoilt by the actions of smokers. When the management take responsibility for controlling the air quality in the shared spaces, I would be happy to return.

Sehr sch?nes Hotel, grosse Liegewiese, kostenlose Schirme und Liegestütze, gepflegtes Pool, tolles Frühstück, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, saubere Zimmer mit Balkon. Klimaanlage konnte man bereits benutzen Insektengitter bei derBslkontpre, alkes toll ! Kann man getrost weiterempfehlen!

We had a very enjoyable week's holiday in Lefkada in mid-July and this was enhanced by our stay at the Hotel Porto Ligia. The hotel is in an excellent location and always plenty of sunbeds available. The hotel is very clean and well maintained - yes the rooms are basic as previous reviews have highlighted but they were cleaned every day and had plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. We had a sea view from one of our rooms and I would recommend this as the views are as shown on the website and the morning sunrise is beautiful. The bar prices in the hotel are reasonable including the snacks available throughout the day. We would highly recommend the boat bbq trip from Nidri on the Ionian Star. It is also very easy to use the local buses (bus stop just outside the hotel). We visited Lefkada Town and Nidri and the journey is only 2 Euros per person. Would also recommend the coastal walk from the hotel (through the harbour) especially in the morning as so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views across to mainland Greece. Quite a few tavernas to choose from along the coastal path - we would recommend Taverna Etitanhea Seven Islands (blue painted chairs) - a good choice of menu with reasonable prices, good service and at the water's edge so a lovely location. A lovely island and a lovely hotel.

As the title of this review implies this hotel was perfect for us. The location is beautiful, I could not believe that I was privileged enough to wake up the that view every morning. The rooms are basic but sufficient and are kept spotlessly clean. Clean towels every day and clean sheets every other day. The beds are comfy and there is enough space to store clothing. The breakfast is a cold buffet but with plenty of variety, lots of pastries, cakes, bread, cold meat, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, Greek yoghurt and a big variety of fresh fruit. Endless tea coffee and fruit juice. It is also served between 8 and 11 which is a perfect window. Food served during the day is good but there is also a lovely bakery just across the road. The pool is perfect and easy to get in and out of if you have any mobility problems. There is always plenty of sun beds, especially on the grass but the comfy ones by the pool go quickly. The sea is lovely once you are in but very stony so need sea shoes. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance and bus stops outside to get you to Nidri or lefkarda. Staff are helpful and friendly. This is a quiet hotel in a quiet part of Lefkas which was perfect for us, we have loved or holiday and will definitely return.

We were looking for a hotel to relax in for three nights before chartering a boat from Lefkada for a week. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. The staff were friendly, the room simple but clean and had everything we needed, the pool was lovely and a short walk to some excellent tavernas. We'd definitely visit again.

Ho alloggiato per una settimana nel mese di agosto e posso fare solo i complimenti! Location splendida con camera vista mare e piscina, ottima pulizia delle stanze con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola ( forse si dovrebbero solo rimodernare le stanze compresi i bagni). Staff accogliente, educato e molto disponibile. Colazione completa e abbondante con prodotti freschi e tipici del luogo. Servizio bar aperto anche la sera per permettere di sorseggiare un drink stesi in piscina.

Everything about this hotel was just perfect! The location is amazing, private beach, swimming pool, pool bar and restaurant. 10 minutes drive from Lefkada town and Nydrí. The staff is very friendly and polite. I will surely come back again. 100% recommendations for this hotel.

Lovely peaceful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. Lots of sunbeds wherever you want them. We sat mainly on the small beach watching the sail boats go by. You do need beach shoes to get into the water at the beach. The rooms are basic and dated but very clean and all that you need. Food from the bar is great value and enjoyable especially the Caesar salad. Hire a car to go to the West of the island for amazing beaches. The hotel helped arrange our hire car, nothing is too much trouble for them. Overall, the staff make this place what it is, we would like to return.
