Questa struttura rappresenta un'ottima soluzione per chi vuole visitare il Chianti. Situata poco fuori del centro di Poggibonsi, su un'altura da cui si gode del paesaggio toscano, ha grandi e comode camere, con ampie finestre. Trattandosi di una antica residenza sottoposta a tutela, non ha nell'accessibilità il suo punto di forza (l'ascensore permette di giungere ad un quota intermedia, poi occorrerà superare qualche scalino) ma, davvero, lo sforzo vale la candela. Le camere, come ho letto in alcune recensioni, non sono freschissime ma, almeno nel mio caso, pulitissime e accoglienti (impianto di riscaldamento/condizionamento efficace, bagno -quello rinnovato di recente- ampio e perfettamente dotato, con acqua calda abbondante e immediata). Al di là della gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, davvero apprezzate, la colazione è stata un bel momento nel quale siamo stati molto coccolati. Essendo stati ospiti a dicembre, non siamo riusciti a godere del parco e della piscina che, crediamo, rendano questa destinazioni ancora più apprezzabili con la bella stagione. Ah si... per i possessori di auto elettrica: la proprietà permette di caricare l'auto alla rete della struttura, per ora in modo piuttosto artigianale; ma ha in progetto di montare una colonnina a 22kw, e anche questa mi pare una cosa utile

Clean and quiet room with good view. The building was built in 15th century and just a little bit far away from the downtown.

Lovely location in the Tuscan countryside. Rooms are large & some are located in the main historic building but are in need of updating. Excellent breakfast with large choice of sweet & savoury items & large car park. Added bonus dogs are allowed for an additional cost

This was our third time staying at Villa San Lucchese, and the first time in about 8 years. It was just as wonderful as we remembered! The staff is extremely friendly and that's what keeps us coming back. The accommodations are extremely comfortable. Thank you for the ac! The breakfast has lots of great options, and the fresh scrambled eggs are delicious. We always enjoy dinner at their restaurant as well. Can't wait until our next visit!

This was our third stay at San Lucchese and we love everything about it. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. It's a majestic, family run hotel, with old Italian charm and is a great base for exploring Tuscany. The restaurant is one of the best in the area and Aunt Lucia's breakfast omelettes and cakes are the best!

Il posto è meraviglioso,un'oasi di pace in mezzo alle colline. Ho apprezzato particolarmente il doppio cuscino in camera, dato che io ho problemi al collo, e devo dormire con cuscini molto bassi, e quindi trovare sia il cuscino di piume sia quello basso è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Da non perdere la cena in terrazza, con le rondini che ti allietano il tutto.

Tornare in questa struttura e' sempre un piacere. Relax,tranquillità e cortesia, sono gli ingredienti principali,ma c'e ' molto si più. Le stanze, confortevolissime, sono silenziose e curate, pulizia perfetta e arredate con gusto. Ottima la colazione, molto varia e con diverse proposte realizzate direttamente in albergo. Per pranzare o cenare si può usufruire della bella sala affrescata o,in estate sulla terrazza panoramica. Interessante il menu che affianca a piatti tradizionali anche rivisitazioni di gran gusto. Esternamente un bel giardino ed un comodo parcheggio sono a disposizione con l'aggiunta, fiore all'occhiello, di una splendida piscina immersa in un prato tra ulivi ed alberi d'alto fusto. In poche parole, Villa San Lucchese e' certamente un'eccellenza nell'offerta alberghiera che soddisfa completamente e che hai il desiderio di rivisitare e rivisitare.
