This was our second stay at Hotel Bakoua. The staff are very helpful indeed and the location cannot be bettered. The hotel is located on the beach with very good range of facilities, and very close to the ferry to Pointe du Bout.

L’accueil était très chaleureux. Les employés super gentil et prêt a aider. Jean-Michel à la reception était vraiment super.
L’hotel est situé sur une superbe petite plage parfait pour la plongée en apné. Il y a beaucoup a voir.
On avait une chambre sur le jardin, la vue était magnifique avec les palmiers et la mer au loin. La chambre était grande, tranquille, propre, lits très comfortable. Le service de chambre était tres bien et les bouteilles d’eau gratuite étaient très appréciés. La chambre avait un frigidaire, coffre fort et suffisament d’espace de rangement pour une famille de 4. L’hotel est très bien situé, café, resto shopping et marina à 5 mins de marche. Je recommande fortement cet hotel.

Le personnel est agréable et bienveillant!! La situation de l’h?tel est idéal toutefois, les chambres mériterait un rafra?chissement.

Cet Hotel devait être un vrai paradis à son ouverture . Hélas, il tombe vraiment en décrépitude . Pourquoi a-t-il encore 4 étoiles??? il ne les mérite plus du tout.
seuls points positifs : plage du lagon directe en sortant de la chambre ( catégorie luxe) et personnel bienveillant, gentil et attentionné, au top... très bon p'tit déjeuner.?
vraiment besoin d'une totale remise à neuf.?

This "4 star" hotel might have been a four star hotel 10-15 years, but far from it right now... The room we got (no 12) was in a pretty poor condition. Paint falling off the walls, electricity not working correctly, no iron in the room, staff mildly interested in service, along with a number of other small details too many to mention all here. I would recommend another hotel for this kind of money.

Hotellin sijainti aivan mahtava. Upeassa merenpoukamassa. T?ll? er?? kaikki sujuu, mutta vuonna 1965 rakennettu hotelli kaipaa remonttia. Parasta ihana ranta ja meri.

Honestly, the rooms were clean, a bit outdated but clean. Really appreciated the coffee machine and Nespresso refills every day, it allows us to enjoy the morning on the balcony before we started the day and explore the island. The hotel offers private beach access, so at the end of the day when we are back we get to relax there. Great restaurants in the village, walkable. The only negative - never got a hot water shower in the evening, just luke warm.
