Guest：What a wonderful stay I had at Mackaya Bella. Nicki and Mike are most gracious hosts who have created a wonderful little oasis. It really felt like a home away from home and since it was a working holiday for me, it was lovely to come back to such a warm and welcoming space. Will definitely be back, it's now a firm favourite spot. Special mention to the wonderful Sli and her delicous daily breakfasts.
Guest：We had a very nice time in Durban-largely thanks to Nicki and her husband. We’re from the US but living in Cape Town for 3 months for work and took a weekend getaway to Durban. The guesthouse was a lovely base for the weekend - comfortable and roomy, with excellent breakfasts! In particular, however, the advice from Nicki on places to eat, places to visit, and getting around safely was invaluable. So much online about Durban is out of date, having a knowledgeable, trusted advisor like Nicki is a necessity. Plus, she and her husband are absolutely lovely people!
