We stayed in the 3 bed self-catering cottage, it was clean, tidy, well decorated and had everything you need, we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Delightfully close to airport (7-8 minutes)

Beautiful decor , lovely pool area. Bus stop outside , great dining, good service, one niggle which might sound trivial , they had taped music in dining room which I don’t mind but the choice of music was annoying more nighttime bar music than soft lounge music.

Lovely hotel with great staff and in a perfect location for exploring the island without surrounding noise and commotion.

End of an era as La Place is closing at the end of September. It is to be replaced by apartments. Such a shame as the hotel has been our hotel of choice over the years. Staff have always been fantastic and this year Patrick and Marcus in particular were wonderful. Such a shame that they are not being retained now the hotel is closing. It is noticeable that over the last couple of years little attention has been paid to the upkeep of the hotel as management knew it was closing. Hopefully the new apartments will retain some of the excellent features that made the hotel so highly rated, in particular the restaurant and the staff.

Have just had an 3 night stay at La Place. Everything was excellent. Every member of staff has excellent customer service and every interaction is a delight.
Staff so helpful and friendly and professional
The room is spacious and decorated to an excellent standard. Lovely cool white colours. Everything you can imagine you would need / little touches. White company products aplenty, zoom-in mirror. Beautiful room interior creating luxurious relaxing environment.
The breakfast is to an excellent standard and dinner in the restaurant too with delicious seafood and fish.
A perfect hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary- We will return.

This is a lovely hotel which is made by its staff, who are uniformly cheerful and friendly. The location is great, and there are drivers who will take you to nearby spots, but a car is really needed to take advantage of all that the island has to offer. The food is excellent, with a wide choice at breakfast and high-quality meals in the restaurant. Such a pity that the hotel is converting later this year to self-catering accommodation only.

We can highly recommend Hotel Le Place because it went well beyond what we expected. It deserves five stars and more in every respect, the staff are friendly attentive and efficient whilst retaining professionalism. Thank you Veronica, Thank you Patrick you made our Holiday so special.
