This hotel was booked for us by an agency and, coming from Australia, we had no idea what to expect- our experience was exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights in a room overlooking the lake and the terrace and it was marvellous to wake each morning to a fabulous view. During our stay my husband celebrated his birthday and many members of staff took the time to extend their birthday wishes. During our stay we had breakfast each day, a couple of light dinners and drinks on the terrace. Service for each of these was excellent. The hotel is located in a beautiful parklike setting, making it wonderfully peaceful

Incredible trip! We loved everything about our stay. The property is gorgeous, staff are kind and attentive and food was excellent. The hotel is a short 5 min drive to Salo or other nearby towns where there was easy parking to go to explore. We also drove 40 minutes to limon sul garda for a day excursion. We loved relaxing by the pool. We had a room with a terrace which was lovely to see the water from our room. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to indulge and relax!

Amazing staff and outstanding food. Florin/ Angelo and the team are brilliant. Views are stunning with a classic and authentic Italian feel. Very much old school in all its values. Highly recommend but you need a car as there is no shuttle and the walk to local amenities it’s not pleasant ( main busy road). Def return for a chill.

A magical retreat on Lake Garda: timeless charm and unmatched views Our stay at Villa Del Sogno was simply unforgettable. This beautifully preserved villa from 1904 feels like a step back into a more elegant era, with grand architecture, lush gardens, and an atmosphere of serene luxury. The location is unbeatable: perched above Lake Garda, the views from the terrace, rooms, and pool are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that panorama and enjoying breakfast outdoors, with fresh pastries, fruit, and Italian coffee, was a daily highlight. Service throughout our stay was warm, professional, and thoughtful. From check-in to departure, every interaction was welcoming and made us feel well cared for. The villa itself has so much character, with historic details everywhere but still all the modern comforts you would expect. It is quiet, intimate, and perfect for a relaxing escape. I can see why so many guests return year after year. Villa Del Sogno truly lives up to its name, it is a dream.

Die Villa del Sogno ist ein ganz besonderer Ort am Gardasee. Wundersch?n gelegen in einem ruhigen Park oberhalb des Sees, bietet das Hotel einen atemberaubenden Ausblick und eine Atmosph?re voller Charme und Geschichte. Die historische Villa beherbergt eine kleine Anzahl an stilvoll renovierten Zimmern, was den Aufenthalt sehr pers?nlich und entspannt macht. Der Poolbereich ist ebenso gepflegt wie einladend – mit einem kleinen Restaurant, das sich perfekt für ein leichtes Mittagessen eignet. Am Abend überzeugt das Restaurant Maximilian mit guter italienischer Küche und einem grandiosen Blick über den See. Auch das Frühstück, serviert auf der herrlichen Terrasse, ist ein echtes Highlight. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der herzliche und famili?re Service, der den Aufenthalt rundum angenehm macht. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und k?nnen dieses Hotel wirklich ausnahmslos empfehlen. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Genie?en.

We stayed here for our Minimoon and it was absolutely amazing. We had a room with a terrace, which had a perfect view of the lake. The room itself was recently renovated and spotless. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you have breakfast and dinner, with even better views and all the Italian charm you could hope for. The staff were all so polite and attentive, we felt looked after throughout. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at Hotel Villa del Sogno for two nights. Frankly speaking, it's not worth the price by its hardware and software. Hardware part: the building is old, the rooms lack of any modern amenities with used up furniture, aged room deco, old bedding materials, no coffee machine and small bathroom. There are only a handful guests for breakfast, and the breakfast was not good, lack of variety and the supposedly hot food was rather cold instead. The five star is clearly over-rated. Will no visit again and will not recommend.

Es un hotel antiguo bien mantenido el lugar hermoso . Habitaciones peque?as algunas con balcón .Creo que le faltan varias cosas en general, para dar un óptimo servicio al pasajero, como tiene que ser un hotel de 5 * El desayuno para este tipo de hotel no cumplió nuestras expectativas.

We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and it was just perfect. It’s a gorgeous, classy hotel set high up on the road so the sea views are incredible. It’s better value for money than the hotels across the road on the waterfront but you feel like you’re there anyway. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I didn’t feel well when we arrived and they asked how I was feeling every day. Breakfast was delicious and we ate in the bar a couple of nights too (we didn’t try the main restaurant). Food was great and 5 star service to match. It was a quiet time of year so not many people around but that didn’t bother us. We had a room with a terrace which was lovely. We slept well and the beds were really comfortable. Grazia on reception was exceptional with her local knowledge and help. I left a ring at the hotel by accident and they found it and returned it to me with much care and consideration. We shall definitely return in future years (a big anniversary perhaps) and I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.
