Fantastic stay at puddle duck lodge ! Seamless checking in process, as very well communicated by hosts. Beautiful quirky little garden entrance which continues inside the property. We stayed in the Beatrix room which was beautifully decorated with a stunning four poster bed which was very comfortable. The hosts have definitely put alot of thought and love into the property and this also shows in the extra touches they provided in the room . We were allocated a car parking spot off road on the property which removed any stresses about parking. The location of the property is fabulous - approx 5 min walk down to shops, restaurants, pubs. The continental breakfast ( which you can choose from a number of options ) was delightful, delivered to our bedroom door at a designated time if our choice, in a Beautiful wicker hamper basket. It really was the cherry on top ! The attention to detail on the breakfast again just added that extra feeling of love and care, the heart on top of the yoghurt, the duck cut out on the toast and jenny's home made jam. Both myself and my partner throughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning again, we got to meet Nev the cat who was so friendly, I only wish that we could have seen Jenny or David to thank them personally for our amazing stay and to commend them on their amazing hospitality.

?????????? Absolutely Outstanding Stay! I honestly couldn’t fault this hotel in any way. The room was immaculate, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable—everything you’d want for a relaxing stay. The facilities were top-class and clearly well cared for, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and luxurious. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, high-quality ingredients with plenty of choice. This hotel truly goes above and beyond, and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do. An amazing experience from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone. Can’t wait to stay again!

A lovely welcome with well decorated and clean rooms. Breakfast in the room was great. A perfect spot to explore the Lake District.

床很舒服，住的地方有免费停车位，前台也很热情，走路可到彼得兔店，感觉很方便，房间床也很软还有小吃准备

Great place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of nice little touches. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and plenty of food. I would definitely look at booking Puddle Duck Lodge when I visit the Lake District again.

イギリスの古き良きロッジ。湖水地方を访れた记念にもなる。部屋は素晴らしく作られており、オーナーは亲切。非常に良い思い出になった。
湖までは歩く必要はあるものの、歩くのも楽しい地域。なお、バス停が近くにあるので駅からはバスを乗るのが便利。とはいえ、駅までも歩ける程度の距离。

We recently stayed at Puddle Duck Lodge and cannot fault it. The guest house was very homely with little home comforts and everything thought about such as a hanging tray in the shower for toiletries, room spray and tea and biscuits. The rooms were immaculately clean and the breakfast was 10/10 with a little doorstep delivery to your room at your time of choice. Even when I forgot to put our breakfast order in, the owner very kindly messaged me to see what we would like. We will definitely be back for another stay!

一千多一晚的民宿性价比很一般的，去早了点老板很不高兴的开了个门缝穿着个睡袍拉着个脸；预订的早餐按时送到房间门口在客房吃早餐，吃的东西有吐司黄油果汁果酱不是英式早餐的；主要是十点退房过于早了点，但咱也没办法啊；房东的猫表现分100，nice??

We stayed here over the Aug 2025 bank holiday weekend and would definitely recommend this place to stay.
The location is ideal - situated on a quiet street and very short walking distance to explore Bowness. The garden at the front of the property is beautiful. We stayed in The Boat House suite which was very spacious and pleasantly decorated.
David & Jenny were extremely hospitable and delivered us a generous breakfast hamper each morning (home made preserves a lovely touch) and were very helpful with local recommendations for Sunday roast. Thankyou :)
