Please allow us to mention that The hotel's categorization refers not only to the furnishings or condition of the rooms, but to the entire range of services the hotel offers, e.g., various restaurants, conference rooms, extra services, etc. This categorization varies from country to country and is therefore not comparable to the categorization in other countries. Therefore, we find your comment that our hotel does not live up to its 5-star status unfair. We are certified 5-star in Greece and therefore meet the requirements set for this category, the country's typical standard. It makes a difference whether you personally believe that the hotel does not meet your expectations of a 5-star hotel or whether it meets the country's official requirements. Due to its architectural style and year of construction (1977), the hotel cannot be compared to a modern new building. We cannot meet excessive expectations regarding the furnishings of the rooms; other countries are better known for super-luxurious amenities. We regret that, compared to other guests, we were not able to convince you with our service and our extensive culinary offerings. But as we all know, tastes differ. I general our food especially in our a la carte restaurants is highly praised on all review portals. We are happy that you enjoyed the program of our animation team and will give your warm words to them.
