Great experience at this hotel. Basement parking is available with plenty of street parking. Room come with breakfast. Comfy bed. A bit cramp if you have a lot of luggage.

Really impressive quality for the price! Breakfast, room, staff is so friendly and proactively help (for example with my parking fee). Extremely recommend!

Location.
The location is good. It is in the middle of town and easily accessible by public transport or on foot.
Cleanliness.
Cleanliness was poor. The room had a strong unpleasant smell caused by a clogged sink. The sink did not drain properly, which appears to be a recurring issue based on other guest feedback. In addition, there was a coffee spill on the floor that was not properly cleaned. The sink clog should be treated as a priority due to the hygiene and odour issues.
Service.
Front desk service needs improvement. Staff should stop personal conversations when guests are at the counter. When a room is booked for two guests, two key cards should be provided. If there is a policy limiting this, it should be clearly explained.
I also requested an extra towel and was willing to pay, but the request was declined without proper explanation. This is a basic service and an opportunity for upselling, which was not handled well.
Facilities.
The air conditioning unit was leaking and appeared not to have been checked before the room was assigned. Being on a higher floor should not mean compromised room quality. The clogged sink issue was also unresolved. Please refer to the attached photos of the leaking air conditioner and the sink that only drained after several minutes, creating hygiene concerns.
Overall.
Service standards and facilities must improve to attract more tourists for Visit Malaysia 2026. Infact i did required to change the room due to above explanation. If local guests are not
handled well, it will be difficult to meet the expectations of international travellers.

Location in city center. Short walk to The Store. Opposite the famous Pusing Seafoid restaurant. Basement car park is provided. Ample oarking space.
Room and beds are comfortable. Floor is a bit dusty.
SK Magic water dispenser is provided at the lobby. Nice and cosy lobby. Carpet needs to be vacuumed properly.
Breakfast is good. Wide variety.
Super value! Highly recommended.

For the price we paid, we can't really complain as the hotel rooms are generally decent, stay comes with breakfast and the hotel is located in a good location, within walking distance to Concubine Lane. While the room is decent, management could really look at improving hygiene (especially bathroom and bedsheets) and maintenance. One of our rooms had a leakage but was quickly replaced with another. The breakfast spread was decent. However, it's a little strange that we were given the remote controllers for A/C and TV when we checked in and needed to return them when we checked out. Free parking is also a perk.

This is my second time stay at this hotel. I book 2 room. The room was clean. The breakfast was simple, not much variety but still ok. After breakfast we enjoy walk at pasar Loken or bazar karat it just infront of the hotel. I also go for foot massage at the hotel with 10% discount ??.

Overall, the stay was okay. The hotel provides free parking, which is a plus. However, our first impression wasn’t great. When we arrived, the place was quite crowded and we waited around 10 minutes in the check-in line, only to be told that a RM50 deposit was required in cash. Since we didn’t have any cash on us, we couldn’t check in and had to go find an ATM first. This wasn’t communicated beforehand and made the check-in process unnecessarily inconvenient.
Aside from that, the rest of the stay was generally fine. The room was clean, though not spotless. Hot water and water pressure were both acceptable. The room came with basic amenities such as a kettle, iron, hairdryer, TV, and water heater, which was convenient.
Our room included breakfast, and that was actually a highlight. The food quality was good with a decent variety of options, and there was nothing to complain about on that front.
Soundproofing could be improved, as noise from outside could be heard through the door, but it didn’t really bother us at night. Overall, despite the rough start during check-in, the hotel was mostly good and met basic expectations.

Location is very good.near to public restaurant famous Chinese restaurant (beside).Check in fast but need to pay deposit rm 50.room is small but provide toothpaste,shampoo n bath gel.TV,hairdryer and ironing facilities provided.air conditioner function well.free parking too.Buffet breakfast is simple but delicious.Room rate is very reasonable with breakfast too.Will stay again.

Location was good, walking distance within 10 mins to tourist spots.
Water of shower room no problem but the water supply of the sink was very slow not conveniently used.
Room was relatively small for 2 beds.
Nice breakfast, was good for this price.
Free and ample parking space for customers.
Comfortable bed, recommended for budget travellers!
